No problem with that if the Red Sox didn’t have any chance at the Postseason, but the last two years the Red Sox did. Didn’t Raffy, and some other players say they needed help last year at the deadline? Like I keep saying if you’re not playing to get in it then why play at all.

Houston doesn’t have to be in our Div to get a wildcard. I’m not even thinking about the Div. A little dab will do ya, so any wildcard spot will do.

If you’re not going to play to get in, and win then don’t play at all. The last two years the Red Sox were in shouting distance at the trade deadline you know when you were predicting the 80+ wins last year. It didn’t work out, and the Red Sox dropped off after the trade deadline. The players were pissed when Vaz got traded, so at the time NO. It’s worked out good since though.

Selling has always been a wishful topic on here with a chance to bring in more prospects. The eye candy for most on here.

Some teams are down this year like the Jays, Rays, and Houston, so this is not a typical year like was predicted.

I get that, but all that matters is where the Red Sox are at near the trading deadline, and for me I’ll just wait, and see.

I don’t put much stock in projecting wins especially this early in the season, and so many things can, and have happened already. Predictions didn’t turn out very well the last two seasons, and that was done later in the year. I do agree with the rest though.

I could understand the selling talk this past offseason, because it was pretty much assumed the team was going to suck, but definitely not now.

To me it shouldn’t matter so much of what the record is, but where are you in proximity of making the postseason. The last two years they were in striking distance.

We know how things worked out the last two years as it was, but we don’t know how things would have worked out if Bloom would have added some pitching last year like the PLAYERS were calling for.

If the Sox are 62-46 at any point they’d better be in a buy mode. Before the season, or during the season some are always in a sell mode on here. I know the bar for the Red Sox has been set so low, and anything with a 500, or better season will look like a success, but this constant worrying about selling is comical.

GREAT win for the Sway Man, and the Bruins last night. C’s, and B’s on every night this week. What a good time to be a Boston sports fan. On a lesser note the Sox get to face Sale this week.

As usual you are wrong again. It has nothing to do with Merloni. If Yaz came out today, and said the same thing Merloni said it wouldn’t change MY opinion. My opinion is my opinion, and it’s not going to change like it, or not.

Did I say you disliked McAdam? You said he didn’t know what he was talking about, because he disagreed with you on Monty. That’s a fact. That happens a lot on here, and that was a good example. When Monty signed with Arizona they said he would fit in as the #3 starter. Not a big deal either way, but it was made a big deal on here. That’s a fact also.

What amazes me is every time I mentioned someone that is taboo on here like Mazz, or Shaugnessy it’s always they don’t know what they are talking about. Bell even said McAdams didn’t know what he was talking about, because they didn’t agree where Monty should be ranked as a pitcher. Mazz has knowledge, and so does Shaugnessy, and most times I would put them against the so called genius on here. Like I said I’ve never been a Merloni fan, and he was the worst of the bunch on the baseball show, but he does have knowledge something you guys won’t admit with Mazz, or Shaugnessy. No you haven’t gotten anything, but a pounded thumb.

Now I think you stopped hitting your thumb, and started hitting your noggin. What a bad summation you just spewed out. Show me where I said Felger knows more about anything, because I didn’t. If you are a Merloni fan good for you, but I didn’t know he’s the new spokesperson for baseball. I know he yucks it up on NESN, but that’s about it. He used to be terrible on the old Baseball show on Saturday morning, so I don’t put to much stock in what he says.

Please don’t tell me you think this current Twins team stacks up to a lot of Twins teams from the past. At least not some of the good ones. Please don’t tell me you really thinks it does?🙈🤭🤮

You always bring up I’m trying to make sure you AC don’t enjoy watching the Red Sox. If my comments affect you that much, and they apparently do then it doesn’t take much. Do you think all of your comments take away how I enjoy watching, and analyzing a game. Do you really? You don’t, but that doesn’t stop all your derogatory comments. If you guys want to think the Red Sox are great, and everything is great in the game of baseball, and the game of baseball is better off today then good for you, but I don’t, and I’m not going to think that way much to your chagrin. Keep pounding that thumb. The WWE has HHH, but talksox has good old NNN.

Who said anything about the pitchers being less talented? As usual you’re analyzing wrong to begin with, which is pretty much standard procedure on here also.

Who is disputing pitchers are throwing harder? You are disputing the talent level. Are you saying Yaz, Rice, or Lynne couldn’t hit today?
