  1. What was the fault of #12 bresLOW was that another productive bat was needed from game 1 of the season, and they might not of dug themselves such a hole of 14 games under 500 to begin with. What bresLOW did outside of that was better than good.
  2. Well said. All the Red Sox needed was a little extra boost on offense.
  3. When the HR ticked up the runs ticked up, and the wins shot up.
  4. Silliness to you most likely isn’t silliness to a lot of other fans. Have you ever listened to the many athletes who have said what it’s like being in the spotlight of playing in Boston? It wasn’t so called silliness to them.
  5. You’re jumping into a conversation that started last November, and you’re asking what someone was implying?🙈👋
  6. Yes I remember that he struggled some, and didn’t like it playing in NY for the Yankees. He’s a lot older, and wiser now, so your point isn’t what you thought it is.🤔
  7. Ah The Man Behind The Curtain still talking about his companion again the strawman . Yes No doubt there was hype, and No doubt there was expectations, and I would say at the very least most were expecting little a to pick up where he left off last year, and after playing in the WBC even expected more. Hell even I expected that. If it bothers you saying everyone did then so be it. Like when you keep saying you’re not defending someone, which you do often even when you are. Now that is a good example of absurdity, and hogwash. If little a had picked up where he left off from last year, and lived up to his hype, and expectations you most likely would say I knew it all along, but you’re stuck, because he didn’t. As always pay no attention to The Man Behind The Curtain.
  8. Bunting would certainly help Duran get on base more.
  9. I agree. I think baseball is a better game when there are bunting, hit, and run, and stealing bases in it compared to just station to station. Tracy is more that way than Cora.
  10. My venues that I listen to, and watch are all local from Maine to Boston. I know some on here think they are taboo, but as I see it TS is just in another form with people scattered all over the country. I don’t think you can get the same feel, or pulse as I like to say living in Fla, or Texas as being more local not just to Boston, but Woo, and Portland as well. I hear a weekly interview with the Sea Dogs manager, and have for years. Many of the Boston writers, and even TC get interviewed frequently on the Portland station, and one of your favorites Dan Shaugnessy gets interviewed twice a week, and has for years.
  11. As with you most often being on the wrong side of Memphis, and being in the minority being something matters to being right, or not. It’s a curse, and not a gift. I’ve never said my connections on the heartbeat of RSN make me superior that’s your analysis. hanging out on TS, where I learned most of the time it’s not the overwhelming opinion. Of course some are happy just being isolated to a small group.
  12. You would like to think that, but like I said the other day I heard on three different venues people calling little a a flop. As I’ve also said living far away from Boston kind of keeps you isolated from what’s being said out there, and thought in the vast reaches of RSN.
  13. Ah The Man Behind The Curtain bringing out his old friend the Strawman. Your Hogwash is just dried up, and your analysis of why Duran wasn’t traded is NO evidence at all, and Nothing, but pure speculation on one of your wild theories, and there is definitely NO proof to prove otherwise. In other words pay NO attention to the Man Behind The Curtain.🤮
  14. You guys crack me up that you are so protective of the Suspects on here compared to all the other different venues.
  15. Insightful analysis. Michael Holly, or NNN? That’s an easy win for Holley. What about all the other fans who said the same thing Holley did on all the other different venues?
  16. Huh? I agree with you that suspects shouldn’t have all the hype, and expectations heaped on them, because as you say players don’t show up in their prime as a rookie, so I would never do such a thing. Here’s the thing though that in the here, and now games still count in the standings whether suspects are ready to play, or not, and I have no hope of you understanding this, and that we can agree on.😉
  17. That may sound good to you, but 1 HR, and 4 RBI along with all his K’s is more telling to me, along with lack of throwing arm in the OF. That’s what counts, and the old eye test showed plenty in this case.
  18. Everyone remembers what little a looked like last year before he got hurt, and that’s why he had so much hype, and expectations put on him this year. Then after playing in the. WBC the hype, and expectations went higher. When the season started he looked like a completely different player, and outside of drawing some walks he stood at the plate many times with the bat on his shoulder taking strike three not to mention his girly throwing from the outfield.🤭
  19. That’s something I brought up many times with Cora that when the team was struggling to score runs the team didn’t try to manufacture them like bunting. Cora was stubborn that way.
  20. Stating the obvious for you? How does that help the here, and now?🤔
  21. The difference is no one is questioning the Cro Man’s ability, and what he brings to the table. Big difference between him, and Marshmallow/little a. I don’t think it’s any big surprise that the Cro Man had some problems this year after having his first heavy workload of innings last year.
  22. Not surprising at all to me, or to the many that have done so. I don’t care if it’s only 100 total appearances between them. It’s the old here, and now, and what have you done for me lately, and lately that is not to much especially, because Marshmallow, and little a can’t stay on the field. It’s not a total write off yet, but hype, hope, and expectations only go so far.
