    I would not be surprised if Nunez's legs are shot at this stage due to the # of games he has played back to back. Bad legs also lead to bad backs. The guy could be just worn out. More reason to question why Cora plays him 2/3rds of the time

    What happened, did Nunez not set his alarm clock for gametime ? Alex gives and takes away keeping it interesting, if not always effective. Standard OF alignment to calm everyone down.

    Erod threw up zeroes because of two great plays by Bogaerts and Betts. Combined with a bad hitting Rangers team , except for Beltre, it was a very average start at best. 3-2 counts aplenty, 2 out walks and hit, leaving with 2 on base. 105 pitches for 17 outs.You are right , he is ok as a #4, just don't look for much against a good hitting team. You are also correct, Price is just an older version of the same stuff.

    Something wrong with Brasier---only 14 pitches for 3 outs. He'll have to muscle up to the 20-25 pitch range if he is to stay in this pen

    On second thought, it is a 3 man bench (Holt, Swihart, Bradley). Cora has to keep Swihart as the back up catcher. There is no way to predict what else may happen and if he drained the bench and the went extras or had another injury, he could be caught short a player. That's the issue witha 13 man pitching staff due to having at least 2 starters who cannot go more than 5+

Have to file away the fact that Rodriguez is a #4 and probably gives us what he has, just not much sign of professional growth. Finally into the Ranger pen, with Bogie up and Pearce on base

    Rodriguez stayed under 100 pitches but was getting pounded by end of the 5th. B&B saved his slim 2-0 lead. Deceptive start where the line looks good but pretty rough in terms of quality.

    19 errors and the only recent big hit was the much appreciated Slam just over a week ago.

    Can we even dream of a Oriole doubleheader sweep. That would be big-time progress.

    Kiner-Falefa kind of wore Ed out, but still no runs, however, 82 pitches through 4 innings. Good for one more try, maybe into the 6th if he shuts down Texas in the 5th.
