For all the discussion, did swihart simply need the necessary reps to get his timing and Fenway swing put together. Glad they stuck with him. A guy who can catch and play the IF, possibly OF in an emergency will be on the 25 man playoff roster

At 73-33, the Sox are still the only team with 70+ wins. In the NL , no one has more than 60. For all that, the Sox are still 8 short of a guaranteed .500 season. But it's still July, so it's early (Joke)

You might be very correct. His concentration and catching are weakening. Like your esteemed answer at 2nd, Mr. Nunez, there was little anticipation as to how many games these backups would play. The good news is that they contribute to the wins .
