  1. Calling him Gingergaard, with the long curls
  2. Just watched the replay again on EE. He turned into the pitch. f*** him, he's a loser
  3. On the lifetime IL, never to be seen again
  4. It is amazing how poorly the team has responded to the mandated vote of confidence from DD and Cora july 31. Brings new meaning to the saying, Dance with the one what brung ya. But well after 100 games in the books, did anyone expect some miraculous turn of events. The shame on DD is that he couldn't unload anyone worthwhile to reload the system with a couple of top 100 prospects.
  5. Gardner stealing with an 8-2 lead. I don't criticize aggressive play, but I will clap if he gets beaned and has a life altering injury
  6. Because MLB allows 26 players on DH days, and nobody else volunteered to get pounded. The meal money is better at the MLB level and Josh needed some coin.
  7. Josh Smith throws literally one pitch and then is shown huffing and puffing before his next pitch that goes for a long double. Do these guys ever run anymore between games ?
  8. This is not hyperbole : Each Red Sox in a consecutive line should take up the argument with Esterbrook and get tossed until no one was left except the batboy. It would make the point to MLB that this guy is incompetent. Also wouldn't have to watch any more of this game
  9. JBJr pushes pie in the Yankees faces. At least it was a solo.
  10. Honestly, can you just walk off the field and forfeit to get them all some rest. It's only the 4th inning , then they play again. Long day
  11. The real question is, how many K's does Sale have ? Is it more than HR's allowed ?
  12. The 2019 Red Sox mantra: "We/I have got to be better" . A few are (Bogaerts, Devers, Erod) many are not and shall remain nameless. Biggest surprise is the inexplicable Fenway record of 5-10, the Woolworth hand. A team that can't get a ten gamer streak rolling. $13+ million of 1B men who can't stay on the field, Starting pitchers who are not being lifted early by Cora , but by their own ineffectiveness. Come into mid-late July needing to show they belong in contention and quickly go sub .500 in key games at home. The good news is that any kind of a streak of wins would put them right back in contention. Maybe being on the road is the answer.
  13. How did we know Hernandez was good for a walk then lets an oppo shot score more. CANNOT get the 3rd out, you f***wits
  14. Bogey sort of handcuffed Chavis with a FB to his middle-middle, prevented any play at first. So Cashner is done. Thanks
  15. These are meatballs being delivered.
  16. Cashner really is no help. This game is actually winnable, but Cora is sticking with him ?? LeVangie's words will calm him. If Cashner doesn't escape here and gives up runs, it's on Cora' judgement
  17. Sogard, so good vs the Sox. Mookie looking everywhere but the wall shied him away.
  18. Betts, Devers and Martinez look like fools, while Bogey carries this ton of sludge on his back. Someone get on base once in a while. Just a suggestion
  19. Cashner proves he's a bullpen helper, not. 5 hits/4 walks/4 runs in under 5. Nice effort.
  20. Maybe the 1950's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's but other than that half century, things have been going well.
  21. That's exciting to think about. How many more years do we eat that crap ???
  22. And you are correct. When the veterans on the mound have been asked to step up , they have failed. The Sox are now 5-4 vs the Rays/Yankees over the last 9 games. Or 6-6 , if you include 3 with the Orioles. Go to NY this weekend and maybe pull off a miracle but more likely 2-2, 1-3, not good. The 2019 version of this team is a failure and significant retooling including some "big names" needs to happen this off season.
  23. WTF did you expect as the Sox hitters become sharper than the umpires. Nice aggression. This is a beat team mentality. Those rings weigh them down
  24. If Beni rescues this game, I'll give him huge credit. But I think he has a 28% chance of a single
