  1. Brewer did what he could with little command and a high pitch count. At least , RR made a move to try and strand the runner on 3rd. Brice may be able to get this next out to close the inning, but as usual Sox down 2-0
  2. Two on , no outs, Brewer pitch count at 59. This is where RR needs to think and do something, even if it meant bringing in Barnes to stop it Blows up Urshela's bat, but it was as good as a bunt, with runners moved up. Can't catch a break
  3. Red Sox defense recently hasn't been helping either. Devers could have saved Hart a lot of grief last night
  4. Sox pitchers have been squeezed lending credibility to the the fact that umpires and referees in general defer to the home team or perceived power teams. Guys like Brewer have to be perfect
  5. 2 out, 2 strike pitching : 1. Walk ; 2. infield single 3: CALLED STRIKE 3, Carlton, you are a beauty
  6. Brewer gives the 2 out walk. Why mess up a scoreless inning? Then goes 3-2 and gives up a rolling ground ball single to load the bases. Now over 20 pitches, look out guys, here comes something
  7. Just to confirm how screwed Roenicke is with this bunch, he uses Peraza , his somewhat regular 2Bman, to pitch the ninth and he gets tagged on the knee by a hard hit ball, stopping that experiment. So Plawecki, the backup catcher comes in to pitch and Two Way Lin goes behind the plate. Honestly you couldn't make this season up.
  8. I see the Cubs are doing well after their WS hangover. Whose their Pres/GM ? Maybe we could get him.
  9. An amzing performance by all of them. Swept by the Rays at home, and the finale the Sox score 8 runs only to lose by NINE. Roenicke is not going to be around next season, but there really is nothing he can do with the utter lack of talent this pitching is showing
  10. Yeah, the fans were brutal , jumping all over him. He does need another start just to see if that was for real. It's really the Sox fault if he 's not reay for prime time to keep him away until such time that he won't get crushed.
  11. Walden is almost incredibly bad. 20 pitches, gives up 3 runs and gets NO One out and is still pitching. Why?? Because they still need 12 more outs and nobody is any better. Here's a new record I'm sure--- the pinata gives up a second HR and a total of 6 runs without recording an out. Incredible.
  12. I'll go out on a limb and say Marcus Walden is a pinata, or an extreme case of worthless crap
  13. Anyone who was worried about Brandon workman being overworked this year had no clue as to the depth of the problem. Workman is on unemplyment sincee his team may never have the lead again.
  14. Devers having a big inning in the field. 4th inning can't get anybody our and down 9-4. After this bomb-out, not even on pace for a 20 win season. Swept at home.
  15. Devers can be somebody else's idea of a good time on a ball field.
  16. He's definitely showing some spark after getting that first hit out of the way. A new Brock Holt or a full time regular next year?
  17. How the heck does JBJr always find the perfectly positioned fielder even on his harder hit ground balls? His pursuit of an FA deal will be frustrating for him this coming off season. Fortunately, he will have plenty of free time to send his resume video around.
  18. keep in mind Hart has thrown 72 pitches and counting to get 6 outs
  19. Keep the drone over the field. It helps keep the score closer by not allowing the Rays to keep hitting Hart in the nuts
  20. This junior f***wit has now pitched 2 innings given up 3 walks , back to back HR's and 5 runs. Not ready for prime time.
  21. Glasnow of the Rays looks like the kind of thrower, our boys usually come up with He is so wild today , he is going to hit and hurt one of our hitters. Do not dig in on this wild child
  22. Based on strictly batting averages, Boston's murderer row consists of Moreland, Pillar, Plawecki and Arauz.
  23. I wish Kyle Hart no ill and hope he becomes part of the answer. I do see he got the RedSox Way pitching manual : walk the leadoff man, and give up a soft 2 out hit, digging a small hole in the first at 2-0. Not Kyle's fault, his team has not developed a pitcher in so long they don't know how to restart the process
  24. You keep Godley, preferably far from Fenway, in your dog's house
  25. Keep in mind that the guy who assembled most of the Rays team currently shutting out the Sox, 8-0. , now works in our building. I guess there's hope some day.
