  1. I am sure you are all very tired of me pointing out truths about he 2021 Sox. But this team has no business wasting your or my time thinking about the playoffs. Shades of Mora. No guts, no glory . I am not Bloom, but if I were, I would almost start again from ground zero with players who want to win and have the ability to do so. It may may take 5 years and 26 new names.
  2. I will go down right now and say he is not. But for the Sox he could pitch 6 innings, 100 throws and have a no run-no hitter and still lose like like Pivetta did. The BP is a disarray of never beens, losers, and f***wits with no ability
  3. What does that actually mean. Serioulsy, are you admiring the long fly of your opponent ?
  4. Zero to minus 10 with this gutless f*** throwing
  5. I'm glad one person has recognized what is obvious to anyone watching closely. This is not a playoff team ready to seize the throat of its opponent and strangle them to death . Winners win, losers lose.
  6. Try getting on the current game, although i tend to agree with many of your posts, the dudes lost a critical game due to the damnable bullpen and its pitchers proving they are incapable of throwing a strike except for as pitch that gets lost
  7. Did we trade for Sanchez between innings?
  8. f*** Gradner. You can see that Nick was not sharp for this inning
  9. If only a SS with some range
  10. Eckersley called it perfectly before the pitch --" If he throws him a curveball, he's out"
  11. Bases loaded once again, less than 2 outs, and the Sox get one, and that on a wild pitch. I'll take it so a solo HR can't catch us.
  12. Shows you how hard baseball can be. Cortes can only become the loser of this game. Sox relying on Iglesias to keep the line moving and he does on a 50' roller
  13. So what would several of you guys offer for Judge as he goes FA in the future ?
  14. Interesting call by Boone to pull Cortes who was cruising until this go round. Maybe trying to stall for as rain delay before it's an official game
  15. Cortes's pitches must look very hittable until the bat misses or fouls them off
  16. I'm very much with you, just putting more weight on the pitcher for executing the pitch well.
  17. OK, I will give you that major point Gary Sanchez is the champ chump of wisdom lacking
  18. The really big shots landed on the roof of a garage or some such across the street. Don.t think anyone got it to the Turnpike
  19. I am amazed that NESN posted a stat that JDM was hitting about .321 over the last 21 games. My perception would have been more like .122. I do think he might solve some decision points if he opted out for '22
  20. I won't rebut because I think Plawecki should have been the primary catcher (due to his bat) during August and early September. If , in fact, it wass Vaz's game calling that got Eovaldi in trouble last night, then Vaz needs to go. But the ball came out of Nate's hand, not Christians. Very tough to pin it on the catcher when the pitcher can in effect call his own game. I do think Vaz may lack essential mental processes in some categories.
  21. This is where the Sox need to pick up two more runs off Bogey's bat. The game is not likely to finish 1-0
  22. They don't have much else in the ensuing 43 years
  23. Last few AB's Dalbec is looking tentative with 2 strikes as he did previously.
  24. Isn't that they guy calling all the right pitches that Pivetta then executes because he has confidence in them??
  25. I note that the Yankees have a replacement penishead in Odor who stinks. Gardner must be training him
