  1. Brasier isn't good by almost any stretch but he gassed Baez pretty sharply, maybe can save Erod's F'up inning
  2. Lift Erod now before the HR. Can't believe we will have to carry this nutless wonder into any post season games. You will not see him in the WC game, IF we hold on to that chance
  3. Some 2 out rockets get us halfway closer
  4. just got home to check on the action and glad i didn't have to watch the Erod meltdown. Same story on bases full non-scoring Bosox hitting. But , what's new with either of those story lines?
  5. Bullpen continues its hot streak of shutdown pitching. Every win counts in April and September
  6. Now 4-2 BJ's. That one may be over early
  7. "It ain't over until it's over"---Famous Yankee
  8. Yankees mounting a comeback by scoring 1. Only down 11-1 in 8th Jays down 2-0 after 3
  9. I think Bloom wanted Schwarber for his wheels. At least he went hard on a ball the pitcher may have snagged
  10. You caught my effort to slip that by !
  11. You would hope that the medical experts can test heart function and capacity sufficiently to rule out or confirm long term problems with cardiac issues
  12. On behalf of Hunter R., I still advocate enclosing the Fenway triangle in deepest center field . No question that the Sox hit more balls there than any one opposing team.
  13. His nibbling pitches and overall lack of apparent intensity about the work make him seem lazy or not wanting to get involved. If you were looking for a #4 , make him a QO, not much to lose if he goes. For a guy who should/could be your #2.5 , I would not go big contract, that being anything over 3 years/$40MM
  14. The Sox MVP comes through, now if he will only extend his range in the off season, we might keep him
  15. Time for the bats to come alive and put some distance between them and the O's. Take advantage of the opportunity being presented
  16. I notice Richards leading both lists, if you hold them upside down. He needs to stay in the BP until his option is paid out. The one who should be embarrassed by Moon's list is Erod in a contract year.
  17. Another umpire advocating for an e-zone machine call of balls/strikes
  18. Even with the DP, it was hit sharply and Cora wound up reading my mind. Try again another day Nick.
  19. A dribbler and a bloop . The Sox and Pivetta are about to meet Murphy's Law
  20. Oriole's Lowther gets his ERA back below 10.00 with 2 shutdown innings. Someone tell the Sox this one is not over yet. Really can't fool around and let any pro team, even the 100 loss O's hang around.
  21. Cora may sit Pivetta down after 3, and let Houck get in for maybe 2 innings If you are in Cora's spot in the dugout, do you sit Tanner back down and stay with Pivetta another inning or move now?
  22. Does Renfro give a damn today or what? Very poor AB
  23. It may just be a bad day for Pivetta but the reality is, the game must be won , so a very short leash is needed. He has messed up as much as can be allowed today
  24. Now that Pivetta should be warmed up and rescued by his hitters, maybe he can get a quick inning. Anything else should get him DFA'ed in mid-game
