    I have been calling a 20-20 record for the final 40 games , before the Covid surge, and will stick with that call. 25 to go with Erod battling (?) the TBR's tonight. Record for the first 15 of the final 40 : 7-8, generally on track for 20-20 finish. 13 more wins to enjoy, but no 90 win season this year. EROD and Richards combine for a shutout over TBR. Great game for Dalbec too. Now 8-8 after 16 of the 40 . Still seeing 20-20, total 89 wins.

    Hunter- guess what, the next pitch will be low outside slider Possibly one of the worst pitch calls since Vaz's last one catching Barnes. That was a curve not the sweeping slider

    Honestly, does JDM in the real world not anticipate how they will pitch to him ? low, away breaking balls, Dude, wake the F up. Really concerned that he is unteachable.

    I understand not putting guys on base just to set up force outs, but I might have made an exception for Sano trying to create the force at home. Easier to get a DP with the bases full than 2nd/3rd. That's off the table now and you are down by 2 runs

    I was just thinking about if Shaw has a nice run over the last 35 games, he would get an invite to Ft. Myers, or a minor league invite elsewhere , but he has virtually no chance of staying with the Red Sox, assuming Bloom wakes up this winter

    Shaw homers again but didn't bother to have anyone on base in front of him WTF ? He did take two nice curves for strikes before clocking it.

    Houck already at 47 pitches for 2 innings allowing 4 hits and a walk. He needs an efficient 3rd just to get through 4 or 5 total. Not really helping the cause yet

    A little surprised they sent Duran vs Dalbec . It will likely be a quick return trip as Houck is now the designated mover instead of Chavis. In fact, I doubt that the player being moved out actually goes anywhere for a one night stand.

    Lots of team control and ARB years if he panned out instead of K out. I would think he'll be in Ft. Myers next Spring hanging on the edge like Chavis did this year. Or possibly be a throw -in in a multiplayer trade deal.

    Rangers even at 43-80 still have a mathematical chance at finishing above .500 . Sox have the same chance but not taking bets on it

    Shaw effectively misplays the foul pop up. Not easy going over the shoulder but professionals do it often

    In evaluating who did the most damage in the 9th, I'm thinking every ball hit off Branes was hard hit, Arroyo's bobble of Bogey's tough stop might have been the worst blunder. BUT-- who was calling and catching for Barnes---VAZ !!. Who was catching for Whitlock ---can't recall now
