This game was worse than it looks, and that's bad news. Bello can't be a true starter. The offense has little consistency The home record and series results worsen. I would love to hear Breslow/Bailey opinion on what they see with Bello and the 1st inning mess. We never will though. My guess is that BBs problems won't be cured in Worcester playing baseball.

I am sure you are correct re: timing Same for Tracy who was a useful sap for Breslow and had nothing to lose except a comfortable life in Worcester. I hope he has enough friends in baseball that he gets other opportunities

What is funny is that you clowns are still jumping on Adell. I only put his name out since I see it daily in my region. He typifies some yesteryear RS pickups of big swinging K artists. Yes, leave Adell in Anaheim so we SoCal residents can enjoy the product of 5 years of MLB potential with no real upside..Keep Bello though.He'll be great out of the bullpen -

Then he comes back with a shutdown 2nd. Just confirms IMO that he has the yips in the 1st. After the DP you would have thought he could limit the damage but he 2 out walks the next guy opening the floodgates. Contreras's error doesn't help.

,The more that Bello is exposed to the 1st inning meltdowns the more entrenched it will become in his mind. Pretty bad cycle of failure. Definitely needs a psych eval. The boos, deserved, will reinforce his negative mindset

Bellboy is unbelievable. A true mental case with no ability to be prepared or deal with adversity. Putting him in the bullpen woukd be a total crapshoot. His contract , like others, makes him a RS liability for awhile. No team would want him as a starter.
