  1. Breslow's job at Chicago Cubs was VP Pitching . That he may have a clue about. Your comment on every day players is highly accurate and could affect the eventual careers of the Red Sox young , not so developing players
  2. It won't happen but i would like to hear from 2 people: Chaim Bloom on where he was going with his team when dismissed , what was his next planned set of moves ? Alex Cora, now that he has had a month on the beach as to why the poor start and failure to recover. What is his take on Breslow personally and as a baseball exec. You will never hear either comment honestly due to the unwritten baseball rule of never crap on your peers because you may work with them again
  3. Let's see, no options. no position (2B?), can't defend well, not a bench stalwart, don't know where to stick him . I have it...trade him for the for injured fragile Chris Sale who will not pitch in 2025 or '26 . Braves were suckers. There are some serious idiots in the Sox FO
  4. Grissom did hit a GS tonight for Angels. There really must be something wrong when players get to Boston
  5. He looked weak after WBC but started to be effective. Your IP list shows that isn't helping much. But look at it this way. Only 4 more seasons after this one. Would not hesitate to make him available in a bigger trade
  6. This one should not be on Suarez alone. Weissert let 2 inherited runners score and Guerrero gave it away allowing 2 runs. Abreu's crappy AB in the 9th didn't help
  7. Almost tied it but again just short
  8. Bulletin just in--- Abreu is not a great hitter. He chased 2 balls before bouncing to pitcher.
  9. Mono-stereo is stupid. Tired of guys watching K3 in key situations
  10. OK, seriously, if the Sox leave the 2 runners on 2nd and 3rd, it will be time for Tesla's Death Beam
  11. Even the 3 HRs while very welcome were solos so you get 4 runs despite 3 Hrs. 1 hit over about 6 innings before IKF shot
  12. I see barreled line drives from Braves hitters and bloops, broken bats, bouncers from Sox. It is well documented in the article on Loss of Power on this website
  13. The difference I see between Braves and Sox hitters is about 30-35' in distance carry
  14. If the ball is spinning or even knuckling which part is the top ? No hitter, even Ted W, could see which part of the ball was the top of the ball at the moment of contact. Proof of Heisenbergs uncertainty principle in quantum mechanics
  15. Guerrero was a pretty key salvage pickup and then callup. Makes me appreciate Zack Kelly a little more
  16. Good ol' Vaughn Grissom tearing it up for LAA. .645 OPS but 15 RBIs and 2 HRs in just iver 100 ABs on another terrible team.
  17. Breslow , in his 3rd season, was a default choice it seems . As a former player you would have thought he could see real players better than the stat mastertons. He should have been able to communicate with ballplayers on their level. But clearly the Yalie is a misfit in his current role and won't be there for the winter of 2026-27
  18. Sogard is a great example of a AAAA player. Nice to have for flexibility but do not count on them to perform as front line starters day in- day out
  19. Try Competing for a chip then The point was and still is, only W-L's matter over a season
