  1. Aside from replacing Bello earlier , what good would another strong pitcher do to help this team win ? Believe it or not that is the object of the game. Harrison would not likely have been on the 26 out of ST, so no one would have known his abilities. Even with the injuries, Bres probably had Tolle and Early ahead of Kyle so he was the guy to trade away.
  2. So you mean like Rafaela who may be working out well on both offense and defense after 3 seasons. It does take awhile at this level.
  3. Would like to see what he says is the difference in his performance and results
  4. La Sorsa with a unique line for 2026 : 1 game, 0.1 innings pitched ( 8 throws) , 27.00 ERA, 3.00 WHIP, 1 HR, 2 inherited runners allowed to score . Hard to get all that done in such a short time, but Joe did it. I'm sure he will be back at some point.
  5. The Pony Express hasn't yet delivered his pink slip to the reservation
  6. Between Mayer and Durbin the total is 3 Hrs including the position player soft toss. That is not a winning left side IF
  7. Past time to realize that Yoshida does not bring anything to the party. They will, one day, have to DFA him.
  8. La Sorsa continues the BP roulette game Cora originated Another scrap heap plug and play Sure hope JH stayed to see this garbage
  9. La Sorsa continues the BP roulette game Cora originated Another scrap heap plug and play
  10. Suarez pitched a very good game Slaten still can't pitch with 2 outs. That was a center cut cookie
  11. Rafaela got it home despite an odd delay. Lucky the open gate coach at 3rd waved him on. Support for Sanchez. Masa had no clue what he was doing at the plate
  12. SS on many teams is a key hitting position as much as defense. Not so much in Boston Lots of times a long AB results in a deserved hit. Not so much for Mayer
  13. 2 soft bloops and a single followed by a flyout shows Suarez is a pitcher, not a thrower, extending his shutout matching Schlittler
  14. Who knew Seigler would be the long awaited answer at 2B ? He may know the strike zone working a BB off Schlittler
  15. Mayer has trouble discerning a ball from a strike. Then he follows the Boston Batting Way trying to upward launch everything. Results in topped bouncers and pop ups
  16. Speaking of schlit, Schlitz beer is being taken out of production. Is Narragansett still a beer ? Curt Gowdy wants to know
