1967 was such an exciting year by a team no one thought would win. Losing in Game 7 of WS was tough but it was still a great season.
1975 was tough because the Sox were so close to winning. Game 6 was epic and almost seamed like a championship. The Reds were a great team so taking them to 7 games was a great accomplishment.
1978 was gut wrenching because the Sox blew a 14 game lead. But, they came back in the last week to tie and then lost on a fluke homer by you know who off of double agent Mike Torrez.
1986 was the worst at the time because the Sox had a 2 run lead, with 2 outs and 2 strikes, three times and couldn't close it out. They were the better team that didn't win.
2003 was bad because "he who can't be named" refused to take out Pedro and cost the Sox a WS championship. The only saving grace to that season was the Yankees choking to the Marlins. LOL!
2004 was heaven, and beating the Yankees at Yankee stadium was the cherry on top.
2007 was ok but almost expected as the Sox rolled through everyone.
2011 was frustrating but I never liked Gonzalez, Crawford, Lackey, Beckett so it wasn't that hard to take.
2013 was totally unexpected but very satisfying for Sox fans.
2018 was watching a team dominate everyone all year. It was in the bag the whole way. Again, beating the Yankees on their field was icing on the cake.
Good things are coming for Sox fans.
