  1. I can't help but wonder for all batters in MLB with 20+ HR's does O'Neill have the highest percentage of solo shots?
  2. SOX need 11 more wins to tie their W/L record of the the previous two seasons 78-84. Can they finish 11-22? They still have 17 more home games.
  3. I get a lot of away games on my MLB package. Believe me there's many worse booths out there. Fortunately, Youk is not a permanent fixture in the NESN booth.
  4. Going from the SOX starters to the SOX BP brings up the old cliche "from the frying pan into the fire."
  5. I wouldn't mind if the SOX FO DFA'd O'Neill and brought up either Anthony or Montgomery.
  6. Interesting. It's fine to discuss Barry Bonds and not mention PED, but it isn't fine to discuss Pete Rose and not mention gambling.
  7. This HP chUMPIRE has done something very difficult. He's disgraced a profession that's already a disgrace.
  8. Thank goodness Wong isn't a goaltender for the BRUINS.
  9. I believe Gasper would make a good ghost runner.
  10. Duran Abreu Casas Devers Refsnyder Masa Gasper Wong Rafaela
  11. Gallen vs Crawford Diamondbacks have been the best team in MLB since July 1st. SOX playing at home. That's not good. Go SOX!
  12. I wii say that this has definitely been Devers' best season defensively.
  13. So, Devers has all these high stats with a sore shoulder. Interesting, although I wouldn't consider 77 RBI that high considering his number of opportunities. And I'll get off his back when I feel like it.
  14. Good research, MOON, but numbers don't hide what I see game in and game out. Runner on base isn't the same as runners in scoring position. He's been poor at that this season. His numbers there don't lie.
  15. Again, his BA with RISP is in the .230's. Are you with me, sweet cheeks?
  16. I don't care that some here consider this as Devers' best season, but when the team's best hitter has only 77 RBI at this point in the season with the number of RISP he's had this season, imho, is very disappointing. Batting in the .230's with RISP pretty much overshadows his other polished stats.
  17. My guess is that the SOX play looser on the road. But, then again, who the fk knows?
  18. Btw, the SOX are getting beat by a better team, so there's that. That they've actually beaten better teams is a tribute to their overachieving.
  19. Why the SOX play poorly at Fenway; anyone's guess is as good as mine.
