  1. The importance of getting 6 good innings from a starter. Nice job by all arms involved.
  2. Having Jansen close this game speaks volumes how Cora feels about the BP.
  3. When the guy on the mound continues to miss the catcher's target, imho, he is a thrower and not a pitcher.
  4. O's announcer mentioned that the SOX offense has a .520 slugging % the 3rd time thru the order, which is the highest in MLB.
  5. Maybe Devers should pay your traveling expenses. Your record at SOX games is the stuff of The Twilight Zone.
  6. I guess I'll have to replace Kelly with Sims as one of the 3 reliable relievers.
  7. "Better lucky than good." Maybe that should read "Better lucky and good."
  8. Bernadino couldn't get a break that inning. Being bad is bad enough, but being bad and unlucky is much worse.
  9. Now the drama begins. Great job by Bello tonight.
  10. Too bad the idiot didn't throw it a little higher.
  11. Masa, right now, is the SOX best hitter. Casas has also looked impressive tonight.
  12. Definitely his best start of the season considering the opposition. OTOH, O's announcers are gushing over Povich's start tonight. Maybe they should look at the SOX history against LH's before they get too orgasmic.
  13. So many excellent defensive outfielders in MLB. Might be a big reason BA's are down.
  14. The O's started a LH. That explains the SOX not hitting. I don't know what the O's problem is.
  15. Jim Palmer: "Rafaela is probably a better centerfielder than SS." Yes, Jim, Rafaela is a better centerfielder than SS. You arrogant boring A-hole.
  16. LH's are Kryptonite to SOX batters, even this clown.
  17. It's actually wonderful he's doing so badly with the Yankems.
  18. Speaking of big money pitchers, the Yankems signed Rodon for 28mil/year thru 2028. Today Rodon pitched 3 innings, giving up 4 runs and throwing 85 pitches. In his 2nd year with the Yankems Rodon's ERA was 5.06 before today's game. Last night I posted that most of the SOX BP were slugs. Rodon is what one would call a 'high-priced slug.' Btw, his W/L record is totally misleading, which is not unusual in MLB.
