    I believe the SOX can obtain one quality starter via a trade involving Dugo and 2 top prospects. Another quality starter would have to be thru FA. I don't see the SOX going after a 3rd quality starter.

    2 runs on 14 hits is slightly better than 1 run on 13 hits. Both are very difficult to achieve, but the SOX of late have made it into an art form.

    Well, they also specialized pretty well in getting injured. But I do agree, the SOX have made timely hitting as difficult as putting toothpaste back in the tube.

    Also, Story and Pedey were the best defensive 2nd basemen I've ever seen on the SOX.

    Good point. I was focusing on his offense, but you are correct. The time he saves at the plate he more than makes up for in the field.

    Story could become the SOX version of Ozzie Smith. A weak hitting, very good defensive SS with good speed. He'll just have to learn to do a back flip when he takes his position.

    Based on league BA's, a reverse shift should be used for most batters.

    Dugo will probably Begone during the off season.

    Masa is 5th or 6th in BA in the AL. More of a dis to the batters in the AL than a compliment to Masa.

    I may be wrong, but I seriously doubt Turner has a green light on the bases.

    Turner, or the manager, figured the O's catcher wouldn't throw to second with speedster Devers on 3rd. Turner, or the manager, figured wrong.

    With MLB so concerned with shortening the time of games, it should give an award to a player who has most contributed to speeding up the game. My vote would go to Devers.

    Pivetta has been with the SOX 3 full seasons and I can't remember one time he wasn't available to pitch. I'd consider that an 'iron man.' Last 3 seasons starting in 2021; 31 games, 33 games, 38 games.
