Sometimes angry fans forget that great defense is also part of baseball. We Sox fans should appreciate that more than most. Especially over the last 3 years.
-
Even the Mets announcers said his lack of hustle has been happening too often.
-
Soto found out that hustling was not part of his contract.
-
Story is one of the rare long-term contracts that hasn't worked out well for the Sox.
-
He just retired a tough hitter. Good job, Mr Wilson.
-
Nice job by Dobbins considering he only has a 3 pitch repotour.

Expect a loss and celebrate a win.
-
A perfect ingredient for losing.

It hasn't gotten worse. It's been shite for years.

785 mil doesn't buy what it used to.

Thank you Soto. Here's hoping you become the biggest albatross in MLB history.

Devers suffers a brain fart. I'm guessing the Sox lead MLB in brain farts.

As bad as the Sox pitching has been imagine how worse it would be w/o this excellent outfield.

So far this season Senga has a 1.02 ERA. Now that really is special.
-
So far this season Soto is batting .132 with RISP. Isn't that special?
-
Will do, thanks .

At least he didn't blame his wife like someone we all know . -
I seriously doubt that Devers is a team leader. To be a team leader one has to be a team player.

Btw, after the Yardbirds split up in 1968 Jimmy Page formed a new band he was going to call The New Yardbirds. He changed the name to Led Zeppelin after Keith Moon said Page's new band would go down like a lead balloon. Page was the last of the 3 ,HOF guitarists who played for the Yardbirds during their 6 year run. The other 2 were Clapton and Beck.

Good one. I'm reminded of Over Under Sideways Down by the Yardbirds. "When will it end?".

By the time Anthony and Mayer arrive in Boston they may be known as the Gold Rust Twins .
