  1. I just read on twitter (not sure how good he is) ‏ Verified account @SolomonSyed Follow Follow @SolomonSyed More Seems the #Mets are getting the ultimatum from the #Marlins- send Thor to the #Yankees or we’ll send Realmuto to one of your other rivals. Not MIA’s job to do NYM any favors here.
  2. By the way, some people say the Yankees are involved just to mess with the Mets, driving the price up for them Hard to tell the truth in all the rumors
  3. Probably not. It would be nice to add Realmuto while keeping Sanchez bat in the lineup, but SP is the Yankees main priority
  4. there are several rumors floating around, another said that the yankees might get Realmuto and have him split time with Sanchez, which makes no sense, if they get Realmuto without giving up Sanchez is because they are planning to send one of them to another team. a lot of BS in the rumors right now
  5. I like it, don't know if that offer will get it done
  6. Then, in this scenario, would be Andujar instead of Florial???, including both will be huge
  7. There are some variations floating around: Yankees get Thor Mets get Realmuto and Frazier Marlins get Florial, Abreu and Don Smith Some others said the Yankees might take on Castro for some salary relief for the Marlins, let's see what happens
  8. I like the idea, you can also add another option with another 160IP in the 3rd year
  9. I like Happ for 2 yrs, no longer than that, word is that he's looking a 4 years deal in the 50 millions range, too much for a 36 yrs old pitcher
  10. Probably it was just for show. But, imagine the RedSox were after this guy, would you match the Nats offer?
  11. They are already a train wreck, one of the worst organizations in the ML
  12. It looks like the Muts are after JT Realmuto and AJ Pollock, I don't think they have the pieces to get either of them, unless they include some serious ML talent
  13. I don't know about that, Goldy is one of those bats that can change a team and send them over the top, now it would be a nice battle in the NL Central between Cubs, Cards and Brewers
  14. Seems like a little light return from STL
  15. If somebody wanted Goldschmidt, he's on the way to St Louis
  16. Not really, odds are they won't be very good based on previous years experience, but I'm a big believer in the new generations and don't like to discard them until they have their fair chance. By the way, your farm is one of the worst I can remember, but it's worth it, you have a WS ring to show for it and that's what matters.
  17. Too early to judge 2017 & 2018 picks, I know the previous years have not been good, but let's see how the rest of them perform this year before ruling them out
  18. It was a big gamble, coming from the NL West to the toughest division in the league, several pitchers have failed on that change. For me it was a serious offer, just not in his expected rank
  19. Corbin to the Nats 6/140 a massive overpay in my opinion I'm glad the Yankees didn't meet his asking price, 5/100 (Yankees offer) was good enough
  20. He is, just not in the first ballot
  21. in the first ballot?
  22. I'd trade Ellsbury for the Toddfather in a second, even if we have to include 1 minor piece to get it done
  23. Kimbrel shooting for the moon, he wants a 6 years deal, he will settle for 4 maybe 5 years, but let's see who's dumb enough to give him a 6 yrs contract (hopefully not the Yankees)
  24. What about Kevin Millar? He might get in in this category
  25. I agree with you, but getting rid of Ellsbury is a big motivation
