  1. I like your picks, Halladay might get in due his tragic death, I think he's borderline HOF, in normal circumstances he gets in after a few years in the ballot. I have the feeling Mussina will get the votes this year, if not, he will be very close. Regarding the PED cheaters, I'd vote Bonds, Clemens and probably Manny, in my opinion they had HOF careers before the whole PED thing blew over.
  2. Exactly, this is just selfish or maybe they just didn't think it was that big o a deal Either way, this is wrong
  3. The problem is that after two years our young stars start getting expensive, Judge, Sevvy, Sanchez, etc. Far more money will need to be involved for Cashman to buy on this.
  4. this embarrassing, all the overpaid players get their share and most of the people who travels with them and do all the prepping work got less money Disgusting
  5. Giants might be looking to trad MadBum, I love the guy, but his cost will be HUGE, let's see if Cashman can get him without giving too much https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2018/11/giants-willing-to-engage-in-talks-on-madison-bumgarner.html
  6. That was Cashman strategy for several years, all or nothing guys, at the end it didn't payoff with ML players, a few exceptions only reached the ML
  7. I'm not thrilled about Cano, but if it means we get rid of Ellsbury, go for it!!
  8. Maybe they don't see him as a 3B guy
  9. I don't think we get Kluber without including Andujar in the deal.
  10. Kluber velocity is trending down, used to have a fastball around 95 and now is in the low 90's, I like his contract thou MadBum has been in the low 90's his entire career, and his injuries are not baseball related so I have not a lot of concerns on that. I see your point on the AL/NL transition but looking at his postseason success, I'm ok with the risk if we can have a horse in October Both are GB pitchers, which is a good news if you pitch half your games in YS
  11. lol nice shot never underestimate the Evil Empire
  12. lol not for much longer
  13. or a Yankee fan......
  14. I know, in a previous post I said that the only way I'm on board with this is if it comes with an affordable extension. I don't see a problem with the current team, they will take us to the playoffs, we need MadBum (or somebody like him) to take us all the way.
  15. Thor would be one of them for sure, but Bumgarner shoulder injury is not baseball related and not that many miles compared with some pitchers of the same age
  16. I'll be on board if they are trading for a real TOTR, not many in the league I like MadBum but with only 1 tear of team control, he will need to sign an extension to be worth Andujar
  17. That would be great, I love the guy and he loved to play for us
  18. It looks like the deal with CC is done 1yr/8mill If he can repeat 2018 performance is a good deal
  19. Those 2 are some of the great "innings eaters" in MLB, it doesn't mean that Kluber is on the clear with his workload
  20. I like Kluber too, not sure for how long will be effective, a lot miles in that arm
  21. I have the feeling the Guardians will be asking for more than that
  22. I know, but both are in the wrong side of 30 and Carrasco missed some serious time in the past due to injuries, not sure this is the way I want to spend the depth in the farm
  23. They will be asking a LOT for those two, don't know if Cashman will be wailing to meet the price
  24. Even if the AAV is high, if something goes wrong is only 3 years not like he will cripple the team for many years
  25. Fantasy trade proposed in MLB Network: Realmuto for Sanchez ??? As of today Realmuto value is higher than Sanchez, I imagine they will be asking for something extra. But comparing the players, the upside in Sanchez is HIGH, let's see if he can snap out of his "sophomore slump" and be productive again, even in a down year he hit 20 HR so I have a lot of confidence in his abilities; Realmuto is already an all-star and a very good player entering his prime years, thinking in 2019 I'd do this trade in heartbeat, in the long run not that sure.
