    Eovaldi's price will depend in large part in the rest of his Series performances. So, we can wish for the best from him and pay more, or... and pay less. Pick your poison. His stuff, though, is remarkable. If we could have him for two years 13 million per year, that would be ideal, but almost certainly isn't happening. So, we're left with the same risk all bidders will have.

    I won't predict, but one thing I know is that the Sox are playing three straight world series in 2018. All our playoff opponents have clearly been World Series caliber teams. If we can continue our stupendous road record, we will certainly win out here. If that road streak is brought to a definite halt, then maybe it will go 7. Whatever, if we take this series, we will be one of the most deserved Series winners in the game's history. Or possibly the most deserved ever.

    I voted Other. It's hard to say because there are no great ones. But I would say the Joe Cronin-Joe McCarthy teams were pretty impressive.

    I'm quite certain it will be an against-lefty move made in LA/Milwaukee. And once a lead is achieved, you bring in JBJ or Beni. (I can't see Beni sitting out a full game--no way; and I can see JBJ missing one game) But against a righty, hmmmm, I guess JBJ would sit. Second base would go strictly lefty-righty.
