  1. Now, unfortunately these types of cases are very much so he said/she said and there's just never enough proof to convict someone. Another reason for that is because victims of sexual assault both woman and men often wait years and years to come forward because they live many years in shame, or fear, or even confusion, which is unfortunate because the number one reason why men disbelief woman is because they often wait years to come out. I really don’t want to dive into my personal experiences again, because I harbor guilt, it almost makes me feel like a phony using it as some kind of bullet point but I know for a fact when victims see these types of stories it can cause them to relive some of that trauma. I was 100% percent against Trevor Bauer when the original story came out, it made me relive many of my own past traumas, but new evidence came out that makes it look painstakingly obvious Hill was trying to extort money out of Bauer. The proof is literally in her text messages. But this is the tragedy of the world we live in today. Once the stone is cast, the ink is dried and the opinions are set in stone and men can’t even debate a real topic, with real conflicting reports, with real new evidence without being called some kind of sexists. Facts aren’t sexist, they're not femine, they're not masculine, they’re not good, they’re not bad, they are what they are. Those 10% of men deserve justice, just as much as the 90% of men and woman do who are victims of sexual assault.
  2. I'm educated on this way more than you can ever imagine. Believe me.
  3. Right, because there are only woman victims.
  4. SMH. Men can't even have a conversation about facts without being insulted. Men have literally turned into giant vaginas.
  5. WHat makes you say I'm a low life? I was the biggest hater of Bauer when it looked like he was a scum bag. Then new information came out and I changed my mind. I suppose that is beneath people like you. Not once in your post did you dispute the facts. Did you even look them up? or are you still living in the world of 5 years ago.
  6. What is highly frustrating is seeing how much poor defense hurt last years team and improving the defense this year will largely revolve around relatively unproven talent, bounce back seasons, and better health.
  7. God, I remember really really really wanting Beltre to sign an extension, but peopel were skeptical that he was only having a good contract year.
  8. I find it interesting that him and his lawyer have text messages of those woman talking with each other and collaborating their storys. That's normal...ain't it Norman??? Also, when Bauer texted her saying that he had stopped and asked her if she was ok and she did not tell him to stop she responded"yeah I know" Also plenty of texts of HER soliciting him into having sex and chocking her out. Dude, woman are freaks, I've been asked to dosome pretty f***ed up s***. This of it this way, if all that was legit true, the only way I could see the cops NOT arresting Bauer is because he wasable to produce such texts; of her soliciting him into choking her out andother acts. Look it up, the texts are online. Women are conniving, and yeah 90% of sexual assault accusations are accurate, but they get believed 100% of the time and there is almost ZERO repercussion for that 10%. A woman could literally ruin your life tomorrow and there's nothing you can do about it if you're a man. I get that Bauer is a PR nightmare, also probably past his prime, and not worth the headache by any means. But there's just as much evidence, if not more he was falsely accused than the other way around. But yeah, whatever, Bauer isn't worth it for so many other reasons. But we can can, or at least we SHOULD put the he's a sexual assualter accusations to bed. Also, I think most people who suffer from sexual assault would also want to see people who make false allegations face justice. It's a two way street.
  9. I don’t have to lie like you to make a point, I’d admit when I’m wrong. And I have more of a track record in here of just that than most. [insert emojis like a teenage girl here] What I said was I understand that sometimes teams have to kick in money to make a trade work. You’re the one who claims you like the trade, but don’t like giving up the money at the same time and then have been on a tirade about against trade ever since. Show some conviction here, you have to give something to get something. What I actually SAID was if the Sox were willing to sign Montgomery to a contract, or if they were willing to sign Snell to a contract. $17 million dollars in ONE year isn’t changing that. You’re making it sound like the Red Sox won’t sign one of those guys because of this deal. That’s just mindboggingly incorrect. The Sox have said time after time, they would go over the luxury tax for the right person. Meaning, if they like Snell at 150/6, they’d sign him at that contract whether or not it puts them over the cap. Ownership has said they will do this. Now that natural rebuttal is. Why believe ownership? Well that’s precisely what you’re doing in your belief that the Sox have a budget. Because they’ve told us so. You don’t get to pick and chose which things you believe in coming out of the front office then call someone stupid just because they have a different opinion based on those same sources you reference. And just to be clear on this, there’s more recent precedent of the Sox going over the luxury tax limit than there is them signing quality free agent pitchers. So let me state my point again, as clear as daylight, so we all know why RED thinks I’m stupid. [insert little girl smiley, monkey face emojis here] $17 million dollars not saved on Chris Sales contract for ONE year will not have any affect on whether or not they sign Snell or Montgomery. Whatever price they would or would not sign those guys at is 100% unchanged by that deal. We get it. When Grissom is good you will say you always liked the trade. When the pitching is bad, you’ll say we could have gone out and got a pitcher that we were never going to sign anyways with that extra $17 million. You’re hugging the line, you’re going to take credit for being right about that trade no matter what happens with it. You lack conviction. [insert monkey, blush face unicorn emojis here].
  10. I’m not even sure we sign one of those guys right now.
  11. Yes, you like simple. We all know that.
  12. Are they highly leveraged? If anything, high interest rates may have been an incentive to use more equity and less debt to expand.
  13. You’re arguing with someone who thinks Jeff Foxworthy is an IQ test, just give up, you can’t win. Some people will never understand the difference between apathy and failure. Henry has failed. It’s as simple as that.
  14. I predict more 2024 Hartford Yard Goats games for me.
  15. It’s going to come back to haunt them when they don’t have the foot traffic because they’ve neglected the big league team. Which means, they might actually freak out when fans stop attending games.
  16. Same. It’s a double whammy, because fat fingers and mobile devices make it a lot easier to make spelling and grammatical errors. Which is whatever, except I’d at least like my point (when I have a good one) to be expressed clearly.
  17. Is anyone else having an issue with their comments being deleted when they go to edit a comment?
  18. Imagine being a general fighting a war. You understand you can’t win every battle, and that’s not the objective. Now imagine losing a battle and saying “well screw it, let’s dump all our ammunition” That would be a very ill advised and strategically disastrous move. I get people want something to see, but to me that shouldn’t mean rushing a kids development. Conversely, if a guy shows he’s ready, I want to give him his shot. I’m rational. He shouldn’t be held back just because the big league club stinks either. These kids should move up when it’s time to move up. Their development should be about their ability to play MLB ball. The big league club performance should have little to no bearing on that timeline.
  19. We also often see guys struggle, or maybe not struggle but take a year or two to get going when they’re rushed up to the bigs too quickly. In other words, you might rather have Roman Anthony’s age 27 season than his age 20
  20. John Henry is still feeling heart broken from the David Price contract. Just when he thought he could love again Chris Sale broke his heart. Now, he may never dance again.
  21. I think they will, but I will predict that are still going to draft an up the middle position player with their first pick.
  22. Hader gets more money than the Sox are willing to spend on a starting pitcher this year and several years prior.
  23. Also Hunter Renfroe - Hunter Renfroe
  24. Yes, I agree. But I don't think a good manager would have gone very far with that team either. It was highly flawed and needed a reboot
  25. Why does it have to be Slaten or Mata? I get what you did there, but what if they both look really really really good in camp. Shouldn't we be more optimistic? I mean, what is it that has happened in the past several years that could possibly have a Red Sox fan not feeling optimistic?
