    Breslow isn’t getting fired. It took too long just to get him hired. Tracy is a clear interim manager brought in to help some of the younger players that he knew from the minors. After the season, he goes back to Worcester and the real manager gets hired. No idea who. Maybe David Ross? Just a guess based on him having MLB managerial experience and ties to Breslow…

    You clearly don’t if you’re responding “but that would never happen”. Ser, hypotheticals are “what if” scenarios that wouldn’t necessarily happen but are thrown out to illustrate a point. If you say “that wouldn’t happen”, you clearly DO NOT understand hypothetical situations and logic. If you want to refute one, you are supposed to attack the point being illustrated.     Fun Schwarber facts from Saturday. So I’m listening to the Phillies pummel the Mets 15-3 on Saturday. Schwarber has a heckuva day in which he 1. Launched two 450+ home runs in the third inning, making him the first player in the StatCast Era to hit over 900 feet of home runs in one inning, and 2. hit another home run in the 7th inning, tying Mike Schmidt for the club record for most games with 3 home runs. Tying Mike Schmidt. Schmidt was one of the best home run hitters in MLB history with 548 home run, all for the Phillies in his 18 year career. Schwarber tied him for a Phillies home run record in 4 1/2 seasons…

Got traded to Boston in July for some guy named Aldo Ramirez and then signed his first multiyear deal with Philly and took off from there…
