    It's mid-July. The "post-season" has not even started yet. Even during a regular pandemic-free season, the interminably long NBA post-season is wrapping up about now. Heck, the next regular season would normally start in about 14 weeks. Are we going to squeeze an entire post-season, off-season, and pre-season into that timeframe?

    The Sox never really pursued Lester in free agency. And they might not pursue Betts, either. And I can think of only one player in recent MLB history who would be in the exact exact same position as Betts - first time free re-signing with a team that dealt him before his option year. But it has happened...
