    I'm not sure what BAbip as to do with it, and Eaton/Sogard ad worse BAbip and better OBPs up first. Of the batters with 40+ PAs in the one slot, OBP: .347 Antony .317 Sogard .310 Yoshida .265 Duran ,255 Seagler OPS: .720 Yosida ,667 Duran .620 Antony .577 Sogard & .573 Seigler Maybe we shoulda tried Rafaela there more often. .400 OBP and .956 OPS in 10 PAs. Jones has been a beast up first (1.493 in 18 PAs)

    Salem as scored 21 runs in the first 5 innings tonight. 19 Hits and 6 BB Primera, Nunez & Salazar homered. Pimera is 3-4 with the HR, two 2Bs and 7RBI! (He was HBP, too.)

    The Sox have 3 qualifying RP'ers in the top 17 in ERA. Granted, ERA is a bad stat for RP'ers, but still... Big surprise, Bello is #1 at 0.85 and Whitlock & Chapman are #16 & 17.

    As much grief as Yoshida has received on this site, by myself included, he was doing pretty well for a long while. I wonder if Romy will be called up, soon. Too bad we couldn't keep Rogers as we ended up adding Gasper shortly afterwards.

    Winning a ring is certainly most important. Winning the Pennant is second. Advancing in the playoffs next. Winning the division would be nice, and I'm eyeing it. I'm not predicting it or arguing with anyone that says it is unlikely. I agree it is. I do think we have a good shot at the Pennant.

    I didn't say you said impossible. IMO, te Ray are not as good as their record. They have yet to have a long bad stretch. I think they have one in them. They are 7 games over Pythagorean. Of their 10 batters with 250+ PAs... 2 are over .799 7 are below .735 6 are at .703 or lower and 4 below .685. This site would be going bonkers if we had those numbers on O. Oh wait, we did have those numbers and did go bonkers, but we were under pythagorean, too. Like us, they have 3 strong SP'ers (all at 3,25 or better.) I'm not sure Peralta is coming to the rescue. (7.53 last 3 starts) Of course, the odds strongly favor the Rays, but I'm putting the FAN in fanatic!
