    I guess it took adding Anthony to unseat Duran from the 7 slot. Just when he warms up, they demote him down to the 9 slot. Hmmmm...

    I think we wait to Sept 1 to call up Anthony, unless the plan is to DFA White or Jones, anyway. We still have the Story and IKF additions to decide on and who to demote or DFA for 1 or both of them.

    The team that claims him pays min wage, and the Sox pay the rest. I have yet to hear when his rehab period ends and way to extend it, if there are any. If we can get to Sept 1, we can add Story. We can send an infielder down for IKF. We could keep both White and Jones while adding Anthony, but at someone else's expense, and we don't nee 6 OF'ers, even if Roman DH's FT.

    IKF is out of options, too. We'll need to add Story & IKF to the 26 or DFA one or both. Monasterio, Siegler and/or Sogard White or Jones

    We are just a few days to that Sept roster expansion, but when does Story's rehab period end that forces the issue? Can Story agree to a few more days without needing to be exposed to waivers?

    White and Jones are both out of options, so one will be DFA'd. White is 32 with 2 arbs left. Jones is 29 with 3 arbs. Too bad we probably can't keep both RHBs.

    Hey- no K from Story! Good farm day for the Sox. Woo won 7-1. Antony 2-4 w no Ks. IKF 2-4. Wehunt pitched well. POR won. Gonzales 2-4 w 2 BB (1.191 AA) Godbout homered and scored 3 runs. Brannon 2-4 (no Ks and at .936) in the 11-2 win. GRE won 7-1, also. Brown pitched well, but Schaffner went 3-4 to steal the show (up to .755). Jackson homered and went 2-2 w BB & HBP.

    Did you see where Tracy said Gasper was the best LHB "in the system under me."

    Sogard has been cool for 2 games. I'd highlight the word "appears." He was 12 for 27 before that and is better at defense than Monasterio.

    Well, DHam would always be near the bottom of the SS depth chart list- if not dead last. He's good at 2B.

    Cora did not do it that way, and several times lefties had days off against RHPs and vice versa. He picked a day long befor and nothing changed it.

    I think there is a limit on how long a rehab goes on, unless the player agrees to stay. 20 Days?

    I disagree. Just tell the guy "I'm going to give you a day of in 7-14 days, and it will be when we face a LHP/RHP. When we get closer, I should be able to pinpoint the day."

    The think that got me, we flipped the WC standings in just 2-3 weeks, and many felt 3-4 months was not enough time.
