  1. Gasper homered again (6th) as did Eaton & Hickey in Woo's 9-7 loss in extra innings. Slaten pitched the first inning and did not allow a run. GRE lost 13-12 as Hernandez & YRod homered twice (7th & 8th) as did Yuten, Cespedes & White once. YRod is now at 1.006 and Cespedes at .992. Whitherspoon let up 3 ERs in 4 IP. POR was rained out. Salem is down 6-4 late.
  2. You may be surprised that I totally respect your knowledge on our prospects. After I mentioned promoting Eyanson, and I read your reply, I agreed with you.
  3. Finally one coming off the IL!
  4. I admit, I did not think he had that many innings at SS, career, when I replied about the -3 number.
  5. Agreed. When I replied, I thought the -3 was over about 100 innings, but when I looked it was 600, which is not real bad, as I mentioned in the foillow-up. His -4 in 433 IP is pretty bad, but yes, for a Utility guy, it's passable.
  6. I think it's just notin, who disagree on him "wanting out" as the reason or sole reason. Is notin plural?
  7. no. Joe implied it. You responded to my answer to him.
  8. Sox OPS on the farm (90+ PAs): 1.129 Arias (barely slowing down) 1.051 Capra (decent AAA depth) .972 Cespedes (hottest hitter on the farm) .948 YRod (maybe justifying the Priester trade?) .930 Gasper (more decent AAA depth) .881 Azocar (showing he belongs in the top 30) .877 Godbout (nice draft pick) .836 Gonzales (doing fine) ______________________ OPS Against (20+ IP) .361 Futrell (Wow!) .470 Mullins (Keeps putting up good numbers) .540 Brown
  9. Yes, as I asked about a while ago. You suggested maybe June at the earliest.
  10. Agreed, but you shouldn't say a player is not bad because of just a -3 over 600 innings.
  11. Make no sense. I fully understand MVPs point. I asked a question, and he answered with a question, much like you do.
  12. I guess you won't answer. Fine. I do agree he wanted out, but I also think it's about the HRs, too. It is possible to have multiple reasons.
  13. That wasnt my question. I think it was also about the 2 HRs and maybe a little about Willson's slight pause while admiring his blast.
  14. They did play him at SS way more than anyone else, when Story sat in 2025. 1371 Story 69 DHam 5 Sogard 3 Mayer 2025: 647 Rafaela 433 DHam 228 Story 80 Romy 51 Sogard 14 Reyes
  15. It might be mor common than we think, and I certainly think it was a reason he did it. Doing it to get yanked, possibly fined and suspended is a bit more speculative on the motive, but with him, it's possible or even probable.
  16. Good points. Only about 100 players go over 2.5 in a given year, so that is a decent bar to set. That's top 3 players for each 30 teams. Fair enough. 78 players went over 7.5 from 2023-2025 combined. KMarte would have been age 32 to age 36
  17. -3 in 1200 innings is not bad. -3 in 600-700 is pretty bad. DHam was -4 in 433 innings at SS for the Sox in 2024. That's a pace of -10 to -12 for a FT SS.
  18. I didn't ask for further explanation, and my post wasn't a reply to you.
  19. I fixed my post shortly after clicking "submit."
  20. I'd say Theo was the best "thing" that happened to the Sox franchise since the 80's. I agree on the Tigers statement. The spending levels went way up right before and during DD's time. That helped.
