    I'm not betting we "see Marco", but unless Chatham is really impressing people, if we ever get to the point where Peraza, Chavis and Lin can't play 2B, Marco is a serious option over Chatham.

    We have neither- just a bunch of guys on the outside showing just enough promise to add a sliver of hope. Even Chavis, D Hern & Dalbec are long shots. We've gotten basically nothing since Devers.

    Yes, because he knew nobody would claim him and he needs depth. There-s 15-20 players on our 40 man roster that are easily replacable. If Peraza sucks or gets hurt, there's little reason to keep some other clown over Marco. If Bloom really disliked him, why keep him in the system?

    If you were our GM, we'd get nothing for Betts- not even a bird in the bush. Betts is great. I'm leading the charge to bring him back by offering him $420M/12 or 10, but he's got one year of team control, right now. Nobody is giving up the world for one year, and rightly so.

    That's why I think Betts & Price (or Eovaldi) for Pollock and prospects makes the most sense to both sides.

    Perazais our 2Bman with Chavis at back-up. Lin might even be ahead of Chatham on the depth chart. They might even add Marco to the 40 man before Chatham gets a chance.

    Verdugo would take Betts's place when he comes back to Boston. I think, if the Dodgers get Betts, they trade Pederson or Taylor... or both.

    We might get Gonsolin, Stripling and Cartaya for Betts, but even that is an overpay by BTV. Gonsolin, Stripling and Wong might get it done. If we add Price without taking back negative value (like Pollock and/or Kelly), we'd be lucky to get just one of Gonsolin or Stripling. I'd be happy to get them to take Eovaldi. Betts & Eovaldi for Pollock, Gonsolin, Stripling and Wong.

    It would have been absurd to stop platooning Pederson for the playoffs after doing so for years. Bellinger's platoon was questionable but not absurd. Muncy's was strange, but we don't have all the information.' By the way, did you know the Sox won a ring in 2013 while benching 2 of their top 4 OPS guys that season? .959 Ortiz .842 Napoli .831 Nava (replaced by #9 Gomes .771) .804 Salty (replaced by #16 Ross .681)

    The first choice says "or less". Choose that one. To me, that's the min offer Betts will end up getting. You may disagree, but choosing the first option includes an offer of $240M/8.
