  1. I thought you'd like that, but the sample period was the one you mentioned (post trades).

  3. Despite going 6-7 vs the ALE in that period of time.
  4. AZ Fall League Selected stats... OPS .942 Casas .928 Cottam .915 Downs ERA 5.71 Seabold 6.55 Winckowski
  5. November 20th is the Rule 5 date for protecting players from the draft in December. Here is the complete list of eligible Rule 5 players in the Sox system: Brayan Bello Kole Cottam Kutter Crawford Jeter Downs Durbin Feltman Victor Santos Josh Winckowski Cole Brannen Franchy Cordero Tyler Dearden Tyler Esplin Frank German Devlin Granberg Kyle Hart Gilberto Jimenez Kaleb Ort Yusniel Padron-Artiles AJ Politi Tyreque Reed John Schreiber Thaddeus Ward Marco Cardoso Pedro Castellanos Felix Cepeda Ricardo Cubillan Osvaldo De La Rosa Jonathan Diaz Ryan Fernandez Ryan Fitzgerald Antoni Flores Rio Gomez Geoff Hartlieb Zack Kelly Dominic LoBrutto Bryan Lucas Charlie Madden Elih Marrero Joan Martinez Alexander Montero Oddanier Mosqueda Brendan Nail Aaron Perry Ceddanne Rafaela Oscar Rangel Jesus Rosillo Roniel Raudes Yasel Santana Zach Schellinger Gregori Segovia Chase Shugart Caleb Simpson Miguel Suero Jake Thompson Grant Williams
  6. What are your thoughts on Hicks? He just turned 32. Was his injury career-threatening? I hate to praise Yankee players: you do that enough for us all, but the guy had an .819 OPS from 2017-2020 and seemed okay on D.
  7. Sometimes I stumble upon something.
  8. I'm thinking he deserves at least what Eovaldi got ($17M x 4).
  9. I really like Schwarber. His bat. His attitude. But, I agree. He does not improve the defense, and he does not fill our biggest not-pitching needs: 1. Defense 2. 2B (unless we move Kike to 2B and Verdugo to CF- further weakening our OF defense) 3. Catcher I'd be happy, if we just sign Iggy or the like and spend the rest on pitching upgraes. I think the following winter will be focused on improving defense as Vaz and Bogey are free and Devers may be moved to 1B, if he doesn't show improvement in 2022.
  10. I'm wondering, if Bloom is thinking of trading Renfroe (or Dalbec) to make room for Schwarber, or is okay with Kike at 2B and Verdugo in CF. I hope not the latter.
  11. This reeks of Martin Perez type hopes but at $2.5M more. Sure, he has some stats that look favorable, but this is a strange reach for a team like the Dodgers. He seems like a 6th starter type for them, and that's a lot of money for that role.
  12. To me, very much so, and I like Matz! Who knows what our winter spending budget is, or how Bloom places value on ERod vs Matz or other starters out there.
  13. The pissed off a lot of fans. I'm not sure I'd say "lost." You know, you guys still spent a lot. Cashman did well to dump Ottavino's deal. (That's about the only good thing I can find.)
  14. You may very well be right. There will be a lot of teams willing to pay him a lot. He's still pretty young and has been pitching with an horrific defense behind him. GMs know this. We'll probably settle on Matz at $12M x 4.
  15. Thanks for the info.
  16. Trade Dalbec, yesterday!!!!!
  17. They were a bit "frugal," this year. I doubt they are in 2022.
  18. I picked Matz coming here on the MLBTR FA selection contest. I also picked Graveman and ERod & Jon Gray, but I think we sign just 2 SP'er not 3.
  19. Maybe he meant Kike to 2B to make room for an OF'er.
  20. But only one, if any. I wonder, if Bloom is thinking of trading Renfroe, if he does add an OF'er. (I suppose he could trade Verdugo, instead.)
  21. I made it 12 just for her.
  22. I'm guessing a decent deal but maybe only 3 years- something like $19M x 3. Maybe $17M x 4 (like Eovaldi) $16M x 5?
  23. This is 2021 only and players who met the min games requirement.
  24. They are Dombo's wet dreams. Mine would involve Scherzer, Montas and Graveman.
