  1. It wouldn't really be fair to Narvaez, if others have been late, too and not benched. If several players are late and get away with it, then Cora needs the reprimanding.
  2. There are more Sox batters sucking ass than doing well, so he's not alone.
  3. Speaking of home runs and Hendu... Earlier in that game, Hendu ran back to almost catch a ball that would have maybe been a double, but the ball bounced up and over the fence for a dinger. He'd have been blamed for the loss had he not homered.
  4. OPS Leaders .889 Yoshida .885 Wong .870 Contreras .883 Abreu .747 Rafaela .704 Anthony .596 Monasterio ,549 Mayer .542 Narvaez .539 Story .497 Duran .495 Durbin .459 IKF Worst batters in MLB (50+ ABs) .183 Ke'Bryan Hayes .337 Harrison Bader .407 Alec Bohm .417 Denzel Clarke (19 more players) 23. Durbin .495 24. Duran .497
  5. None of those names ring a bell. We have gotten a few players returned to us, recently. 4/4/26 Paez returned 4/1/26 Bastardo (from 2024) 6/12/24 Drohan (from 2023) 8/23 Noah Song (from 2022) Did I miss anybody?
  6. The biggest site question is how long you keep your moniker.
  7. Counting today... Last 15 games .128 Duran .161 Mayer .172 Narvaez
  8. Agree on Eyanson. Is there someone else ready for a promo? Sprague is 23, but was in FCL, last season.
  9. True, especially with entrenched vets. I'm not sure how Story would take "the conversation." Maybe start with a question not a demand.
  10. Weird no MRI for a prized prospect.
  11. It makes sense to wait, but the wait is over. Bye-bye!
  12. Not all do, but when you see one on a pretty noticeable incline, I didn't get why he kept singling him out.
  13. The whole leagues seems like it's about 50 points lower than the norm on OPS (not actually true,) but add 50 points to these guys and they still have sucked: .545 Durbin .547 Duran .549 IKF .589 Story .592 Narvaez .599 Mayer
  14. The improvement has been steady, yet you kept predicting doom & gloom for Ceddanne.
  15. Yes, it doesn't help the batting, which looks helpless, right now. Why not put the better fielding alignment on the field?
  16. Add Sonny Gray to the worries.
  17. Maybe we see this... Sandoval to IL (Maybe retro to 60 Day IL) Holobetz AA>>>AAA (26 y/o Mullins could be promoted, instead or with JH.) Eyanson A+>>>AA (make Futrell the SP at A+?)
  18. From MLB.com... Patrick Sandoval was in Boston today to undergo some testing after felt some left biceps soreness in the aftermath of his last minor league rehab outing. Red Sox manager Alex Cora didn’t have any info on the outcome of those tests when speaking with MassLive.com’s Chris Cotillo and other reporters earlier today, and it wasn’t yet known if Sandoval would even be formally pulled off his 30-day minor league rehab assignment. Sandoval has made two starts during the assignment as he continues to work his way back from an internal brace surgery in July 2024. Kutter Crawford also hasn’t pitched since 2024 (due to wrist and knee injuries that cost him the entirety of the 2025 campaign), and the right-hander’s own rehab assignment has also been put on pause due to a new health concern. Crawford underwent an MRI today after he felt some elbow soreness following his first rehab outing, so both Crawford and Sandoval are currently in limbo as they await their next steps. The Sox have avoided any injury setbacks within their starting five, though these setbacks for Sandoval and Crawford create more questions about the team’s rotation depth. Johan Oviedo is on the 60-day injured list due to a flexor strain, and recent call-up Tyler Uberstine is on the Triple-A injured list due to shoulder soreness. Top prospect Payton Tolle made his MLB debut last season and is Boston’s first option for a call-up if a need develops in the rotation.
  19. That seems to be his major flaw, and firing a manger is always easier than rebooting the whole roster.
  20. I still can't believe HOU would not do Paredes for Duran straight-up. I thought we should get King, Sousa or Janek with Paredes, but had it been 1 for 1, both teams looked to get better.
  21. It's only April 20th, yet this feels like a must win game. (I'm not saying it is, but man-o-man, this sucks bigtime.)
