I hear you, but the fact that Victorino is a talented player, when healthy, is probably the only reason the Sox were able to move him.
It would be almost impossible to trade someone like Napoli. He's making 16 mil this year and hitting .208.
They're better off DFAing him. They'll still have to pay him, but he'll be off the 40 man roster.
As for Kelly, he's making about 600K, so there's really no savings on his contract to be had.
The bullpen has taken such a beating that I rather see him throw 98mph fastballs for an inning or two.
That's probably his only value, at this point.
