    I don't mind irrelevant chatter, if it's funny. I hang out here, don't I? I don't think I've ever seen Don and Jerry step on an important play on the field. Their discussions this season about whether replay is showing a player out or safe are hysterical, IMO.

    NESN is getting hammered in the comments section of the article announcing O'brien as the play-byplay guy for next year. Not that it will do any good. I feel bad for O'Brien, he's stuck in the middle of this mess.

    Ditto. Don and Jerry cutting up is what makes blowouts bearable. Hopefully, for Don's sake, it's for a national gig. But, games wont be the same without him.

    Building a decent bullpen is about as hit-or-miss a proposition as you can get. Most teams just get as many young, mediocre hard throwers and hope a few of them shine.

    If the plan is to off load Sandoval or Ramirez, it should Sandoval. This team still needs a solid bat behind Ortiz and Hanley is the better of the two.
