1. Nowhere did Rosenthal or anyone else say that the Sox gave the Mariners a choice between Miley and Buchholz. My issue here is with you saying things like "if the Mariners wanted Clay, he would be gone". That statement has no merit. It might be true, but it might also be the case where the Mariners wanted Buchholz and the Sox said no.
2. In terms of defending Buchholz' pitching, I have never stated or even suggested that he wasn't having a bad season. In fact, I recently stated that he should be the odd man out when Rodriguez comes back. I merely said that while his previous outing was not good, it was not as terrible as some of you are making it out to be, which is the truth.
3. Please don't talk to me about my ability to be objective, which is akin to the whole 'you're a homer' attack. You're better than that.
