  1. LOL I refuse to believe that. There's always hope.
  2. Come on you pathetic offense, score some freaking runs! Now!
  3. I'm not trying to have it both ways. I said that there was more truth to your statement than you realize. FTR, I never said that all hitting is random.
  4. Yup. I guess the question is whether the team has moved on from it. Time will tell.
  5. Come on offense, time to get it in gear.
  6. I did not like Pedroia's reaction one bit, but I don't think it's going to be a lingering issue. Nor am I overly concerned about leadership issues. Pedroia has always been a leader. Go back to the way he stuck up for Youk with the Bobby V incident. Pedroia messed up. It happens. I think you guys are reading too much into it.
  7. There's more truth to your sarcasm than you realize.
  8. Ha ha. Well played Slash.
  9. Pedroia will be fine, as will our team. I did not like his reaction at all, but he's the type of player that will make it right.
  10. LOL It's getting to the point where it's an enigma. These guys are too good to not be scoring more runs.
  11. I still think the hitting will be fine. We have faced some pretty good starting pitching for the most part. Plus, we haven't had any consistency in our line up since the season started. We won't match last year's offense without Ortiz, but that was never the plan. The plan was improved pitching, which we have, and a somewhat weaker but still very good offense. The bats will come around.
  12. No worries folks. We got this! Go Sox!
  13. Remy swears up and down that no one on the team has any issue with Pedroia.
  14. The defense has let Porcello down again.
  15. The offense will eventually get it together. At the time being, however, they are rather pathetic and very frustrating to watch. Porcello has pitched very well. He has done his job.
  16. No kidding. That was a weak effort.
  17. How about some runs, offense?
  18. I still love Pedroia as a player, but he did mess up with this whole incident. I really hope Farrell told Pedroia, in no uncertain terms, that he was out of line.
  19. You never know what you're going to get from relief pitchers. Abad might have been lights out this season, for all we knew during spring training. You keep as much depth as possible until you get a better feel of how things are going to shake out.
  20. Pedroia said he was still feeling a little sore. Farrell didn't want to take any chances with the wet weather.
  21. As to your argument, Ben can try to convince ownership all he wants about whether a move is bad or not. Ultimately, ownership will do what they want. Even the best GM would not be able to 'control' personnel moves if ownership has their minds set on it.
  22. I have no problem with you disagreeing with my opinion that Ben is not at fault for the Pablo move, and supporting your opinion with your own argument, as you did in this post. The snarky and incorrect comment, complete with an eye roll, in your previous post serves no purpose.
  23. Play on the field needs to go old school.
