Youkilis had an OPS of .833 last year. Wanna know what it was after Aug 1 or so far this year? Ellsbury will probably not be as good either.

Nice job (again) by Lester today. Thats good to see. Its just not acceptable to go home 1-5 after six games. I don't care WHO we are playing.

The pen is the biggest concern to be sure. If Youkilis cannot snap out of this we will not be scoring anywhere near as many runs as last year, again, unless Crawford performs exceedingly well. Ellsbury will likely regress too.

Like McDonald, he is a mediocre BACKUP outfielder. We got Salty, Youkilis, McDonald, and Ross. Today we are blessed with Shoppach. Like I said, where's the talent?

Youkilis hit .190 after Aug 1 last year. He is still not hitting. Time to get just a little concerned? Probably.

You are really going to use the level of competition as an excuse for a 1-5 start? When one of those teams we lost to was the JAYS? Give me a break.

I expected more out of Youkilis; he isn't as talented as he used to be. And McDonald simply doesn't belong in anyone's starting lineup. Nor does Cody Ross. Both of those guys should be backups at best. And nearly the whole pitching staff is mediocre.

Ricky Romero retires 14 of our pathetic hitters in a row. Guess one win in Toronto is going to do it. 1-5 here we come!

Well its been nice visiting with you all.....just drove 600 miles and got home to see THIS. Just great. Gonna have to win tomorrow. Period.
