  1. Even if they somehow manage to get in they won’t get far. I want to see an actual GOOD team that has a realistic shot at a ring. This team isn’t it.
  2. They should absolutely be sellers. Too many teams to climb over. Not interested in another one and out.
  3. Contreras OPS is just .001 below Otani He is #4 in the AL and 8 in MLB
  4. I think he’s got the 3rd best OPS in the league-or close to it
  5. Gray deserves it. I think he’ll get in somehow. So does Contreras.
  6. I think they said one arm is stronger than the other but I can’t remember which one.
  7. I certainly got a lot of things wrong about this team. I thought they would be a few games better-certainly not worse. So far there have been players who are outperforming what I expected-Gray, Durbin, Rafaela etc-but as I said it’s only “so far”. Too many players have underperformed though and key injuries have played a role. But even if adding Alonso or Schwarber or another big bat or two didn’t change our fortunes it would have proved that Henry actually gave a s*** about winning. Now all that’s proven is that his priority in $$$$$.
  8. I think its time for everyone to face he reality that we will not be playing Oct baseball AGAIN. Probably best to focus on what can be done to prepare the franchise to become competitive in a couple of years, like positioning ourselves for the draft, trading pieces away if the return is worthwhile etc. There have been some positives of course. Durbin is playing much better. We have several very good young SPers. There are a few but not many position players who could contribute in a few years. But face it: this is not our year-AGAIN. It could have been our year. Its not.
  9. Bregman didn't move to 1B because Devers STUNK at 3B defensively. There was no plan to unload Devers-until he decided that HE was more important than the TEAM. Good riddance. He's doing the same thing in SF, refusing to exit the game when the manager came out to get him recently, waving him away. I don't miss his crap attitude at all.
  10. Depends on the kind of team he puts on the field. If the FLOPS become competitive under BresLOWs replacement then why would I want him fired? On the other hand if he puts the same kind of slop BresLOW put on the field this year then yeah, I'd want him gone too.
  11. This should end any and all discussion about being buyers. Several Flops players should start packing their bags
  12. 7-0 Hilarious! Anyone out there still think we should be buyers?
  13. We don’t need to ADD anyone. We need to be sellers and plan for the future.
  14. He's got to find a way to reel in his emotions, as difficult for him as it is right now. He is our best hitter. Still, someone on the Nats should get drilled for Cavatalli taking advantage of the situation. That was low.
  15. No thanks I was going to join in to your name calling contest but decided that I’m better than that. You should try to be too. Childish name calling really has no place here.
