  1. WAR counts. But when all your WAR is from defense and your team can’t score your defense is of secondary importance. It’s embarrassing I have to explain this to some posters here.
  2. That’s just wonderful! Hows his OPS nowadays? Our problem is scoring runs and he can’t help.
  3. That’s just WONDERFUL Max! He’s still a bum with a bat. He’s not good enough. He’s just like JBJ when he started sucking-only good as a late inning defensive replacement.
  4. It’s not going to matter. We have to play the Jays and the Tigers coming up. We will be eliminated by the end of the week.
  5. If Yoshida had options I’d send him down too. I doubt Lowe has options. Rafaela had an OPS of .693 coming into this game. That is simply not good enough.
  6. Our problem is scoring runs. Even though Rafaela has hits in this series he has been useless with a bat. He is hurting the team. I’d swap someone who is decent in the OF and might. be able to contribute offensively.
  7. If he has options left I’d send him down and give Password another chance
  8. Of all the posters here only you are more of an idiot. You want to get into a name calling contest and make it personal I’ll respond-but I won’t ever initiate it. If you don’t like what I write put me on ignore. That’s the smart thing to do, but then again you aren’t particularly bright.
  9. Who is this Harrison? I know we got him from SF. He’s looking pretty solid right now.
  10. Story really isn’t that good. OPS around .750. I think the ML average is .around 750. OPS+ this year is 107, slightly above average. Passable, but certainly not a star.
  11. Why anyone ever throws a strike to Rafaela is beyond me
  12. There’s a lot of *tolerating* mediocrity. Lots of excuses. And there will be a lot more excuses when we are eliminated. It’s getting very very old
  13. They had the BASES LOADED AND NOBODY OUT and couldn’t even get one run.
