  1. Ok Crochet has made it through five. I’d recommend Cora remove him now to rest him up for next year.
  2. Along those lines I think we should conduct a morbid poll: how many games will be left when the Flops are eliminated. I say three.
  3. I don’t see a lot of positives about these bums. Just the kids-but they aren’t even playing now. Crochet has had a good season but he’s worn out, Chapman only pitches when we need a save-he’s been excellent. But the bottom line is that the Flops were 2 1/2 games out of first place on Sept 1. Since then they have choked everything away. Again
  4. I can’t think of anyone we got who has contributed in that market
  5. Guardians up 2-0 By the end of the night we will no longer be in the WC picture. We don’t deserve it anyway.
  6. He’s been better lately. Unfortunately there was only one way to go from where he was.
  7. You're completely nuts if you think Flops fans are going put up with a non competitive team year after year without some major changes. You're completely nuts if you think all those wonderful winning streaks are going to matter a single bit when we are eliminated. And you’re completely nuts if you think it’s a good idea to depend on any rookie to carry the team. Too many bums; not enough talent.
  8. Go Guardians! Help us out. We need to be eliminated to foster major changes this offseason. It’s inevitable anyway. These bums aren’t making the playoffs.
  9. The Guardians are playing the hapless Twinkies. They’ll win.
  10. Not making the playoffs is an excellent reason to call for major changes. But in order for that to happen another team has to help us out by getting in. That’s not a bad thing at this point.
  11. They’re nice thing about not getting in would be that there’s a better chance of getting rid of Breslow and Cora and a bunch of incompetent position players
  12. To be fair, Devers wasn't dumped for salary relief. He was dumped because he was a selfish "me first", screw the team guy. Salary relief was a by-product. I had no problem dumping him. There is no place for that kind of an attitude, especially with so many young players coming up. But what is unconscionable is not replacing him, not spending the money to take on a contract just as big at the TD. Instead Henry pocketed the money. He is trying to tell the fans that his product is a rose when its obvious that its cow dung.
  13. Misleading. For example, in the FLOPS 5-4 win Ref got 5 PAs, but Eaton and Hamilton got a total of 1 PA between them. Two of them are NOT playing every night, at least not starting. Regardless, its up to those who ARE playing to perform. Not going to use injuries as an excuse for choking again.
  14. "im sick of cheapskate billionaires selling us a mediocre product." And that is part of the problem: Henry has turned cheap to maximize his profits. Breslow promised that the team would be BUYERS at the TD. And I guess they were: they bought a couple of M&Ms. He apparently has told his GM to dig deep into the dregs of the barrel to come up with has-been players to see if they have anything left rather than go after players with actual talent who fill known holes. And we the fans are supposed to just say "yes sir, may I have another"?? This organization is CRAP and yes, the Guardians deserve to be playing in Oct, not us.
