    There is still time. But we have to slam the door on the Marlins. Any more runs for them and its going to be very tough. This is the third game in a row we have surrendered five runs to the 14th worst offense in the NL. The pitching continues to be the issue.

    Yup. I would bring up Ciriaco (who is hitting .301/.727) and keep Punto on the bench.

    Pedroia is hitting just .184/.484 over the last month. Obviously hurt. Just killing his team.

    Pedroia needs to go on the DL. He is obviously not himself out there. He and Gonzalez both need to grab some pine and think about it for a while.
