I’m not optimistic about a lot of Flops players but I think Anthony is going to be fine

When you have two strikes on you you have to try to make contact with a good pitch and hopefully at least foul it off to give yourself another chance. Too many of the Sox hitters are either watching strike three go by without trying to make contact or, in many cases (Story, Duran, Rafaela etc) chasing too many balls that aren’t even close to being strikes.

Last year when Anthony was healthy his OPS/OPS+ was .859/139. I think that once he finds his swing again he will get close to that. I don't much care if his strikeout rate is slightly above average if he can match those numbers.

Anthony is going to be fine. He was off for a long time. I’m not worried about Anthony at all. He’ll get his groove back

I checked yesterday: the Yankmees are first in ERA and we are second. But we are also second in OPS but the EE is 8th in the AL I believe. Of course that’s without Judge and us without Anthony for extended periods
