You know what folks? I believe that last year Rafaela was not a contributor offensively-and I have the stats and the sniff test to back up my opinion. I’m done discussing what happened with him last season, preferring to enjoy his performance this year rather than endlessly rehashing a debate with no conclusion. Time to move on

Are you denying the fact that Rafaela had an OPS+ of 96 last year? Or that 96 is below average….?

It’s park adjusted OPS. But you knew that. It’s probably the best single measure of offensive performance imo. Rafaela was below average last year and horrible at the end of the year

He had a below average OPS+ last year and no concept of the strike zone. You don’t win rings with players like that.
