  1. That was last year. What have they done THIS year? Sonny Gray? LOLOLOL
  2. Sorry. But he DOES need to sell the team. When you stop caring about being competitive it’s time to GET OUT. And it’s clear that Henry no longer prioritizes winning.
  3. They are ALREADY blowing it. Sure, we squeaked into the playoffs last year and were quickly eliminated. But look at the previous several years. Pretty abysmal for a big market team. This year we got Sonny Gray! Whooppee!!
  4. Its not going to happen, not as long as Henry the Cheap owns the team. I can hardly wait to hear all the excuses again this year. Bregman is going to end up in Detroit IMO. I won't miss him. We needed an upgrade anyway. Looking more and more like a pathetic version of the Rays.
  5. Yes! But at least the Henry family can eat again!
  6. I knew who they were. History tends to repeat itself sometimes and we can definitely learn from it. Henry has told Breslow to keep the spending down and like a good soldier that’s exactly what he is doing. It’s become an embarrassing franchise, the laughingstock of the league. Henry needs to sell the team.
  7. Sure. If he was willing to take a huge discount for playing for the Flops. Again this year Henry is playing the cheapskate role. We aren't getting anyone of significance and we are wasting our window. We have our ace and we have a budding superstar in Anthony. But they need supporting players. And its clear that isn't going to happen......but just wait til next year, right? Again.
  8. Henry the Cheapskate is certainly off to a great start, as usual, isn't he?
  9. Fair enough. Heres another tidbit worthy of a good belly laugh: Rosenfeld claims the Flops are “in on” Freddy Peralta. We aren’t getting Freddy Preslta or anyone like him. Besides, who needs Peralta when we have Grsy! LOLOLOLOL
  10. He’s missed out on the top two FA hitters already. He might spend to just over the first threshold-or not. Regardless we won’t be better than last year, maybe making the playoffs with another early exit. This was a good year to go “full throttle”. But Henry decided to pocket the money he saved by getting rid of Devers instead of improving the team. Disgusting franchise.
  11. We aren't getting anything but mediocre players like Gray. Henry is too cheap to fork over the money for top players. He is unsuccessfully trying to turn the Flops into the Rays. The fans deserve better: "“Following Kyle Schwarber’s return to the Phillies on Tuesday, Alonso’s deal meant that both of the best power bats available via free agency landed with other clubs — and in the case of Alonso, in the AL East,” Healey wrote. “The Red Sox’ offer to Alonso was for fewer years and significantly less money, sources said.”"
  12. I expected them to behave the same way they have historically. CHEAP. I remember what they did with Lester. They made a totally insulting offer and he split. Henry is trying to to run the Flops like the Rays. Screw him.
  13. Of course Bregman alone doesn’t do it! We needed to get BETTER, not march in place. I told you guys we weren’t signing anyone significant. We won’t get Bichette or any of the top Japanese players either. This is the team! Watch and weep!
  14. Yes but they were “ very interested” in the top tier players. That has to count for something doesn’t it? 🙄
  15. I think there’s about a 40% chance they sign Bregman. They’ll lowball him too followed by the inevitable excuses. Then they’ll sign some lower level guys and expect the fans to swallow stool again. Enough! I haven’t been to a game in years either as I live 3000 miles away-but I certainly hope those who have been supporting the cheapskate by showing up at the park will boycott it.
  16. I am not even sure they will even sign Bregman. And even if they do it’s just marching in place without improving the offense at all. Henry has to sell the team. Fans have to boycott the park until management gets serious about presenting a team that can compete for a ring. It’s the only way.
  17. Apparently the Flops offer was unsurprisingly a low ball offer. We aren’t getting anyone of significance. I can hardly wait to hear the excuses:
  18. Bregman basically screwed himself by batting.231 over the last two months. He’s not going to get what he wants. At the end of last year the Flops couldn’t score runs. Now it’s pretty clear Henry is too cheap to fix that problem with some quality bats. The Flops have become a second class franchise.
  19. Well Alonso is no longer available. He just signed with the Orioles. Let’s face it: Henry is too cheap to get anyone of significance. My guess is that they’ll resign Bregman and call it a day. What a disgusting franchise the Flops have become.
  20. From Aug1 to the end of Sept he hit .239/.691 over 220 PAs. Thats not a small sample size. Add that to his injury history and his age and he’ll be very lucky to get 3-4@$25m or 30m a year. I suspect he’ll get even less.
  21. Bregman isn’t going to get what he wants. His slump at the end of last season screwed that possibility.
  22. Pipe dream. Burns is going nowhere.
  23. Like last year (2024)? Or "Full throttle".....turned out to be a joke, just like the year before. Two years in a row of equivocating at the TD. Breslow wasted a chance for a deep playoff run in 2025 and publicly stated that he "wished he could have done more". I suspect we will get the same language this year.
  24. I admit last year was an improvement. This upcoming year I expect MORE. But we are not going to get MORE if the best we can do is Gray and maybe Bregman. Its possible that they aren't done adding but I would be very surprised if they added real quality like Alonso or a real #2 SP.
  25. Nice fit for the Sox...except that Henry is too cheap to sign him or anyone else of significance. Gray? LOLOLOL
