  1. It is, but they're also giving Grissom a look. Cora is juggling a lot of stuff. I think he's pretty capable at that.
  2. I hate to take the Nelly perspective, but I hope the sudden increase in velocity doesn't lead to arm problems.
  3. If Casas isn't interested in working hard on his D, that would lend credence to the mutterings out there that the team isn't thrilled with him.
  4. Because he's in the running for both positions now or in the future, I'd say.
  5. In his last 27 games Raffy hit 172/265/212 for a 478 OPS, with 1 HR and 6 RBI. That's a whole new level of being affected by aches and pains.
  6. I still think our number one question mark health-wise is Devers and his shoulders.
  7. Vegas has our over/under at 86.5. Take the over and make a killing! 😉
  8. We've heard a lot about all the work Wong did on his defense this offseason. I wonder if they talked to Casas about improving his D.
  9. Not playing him in any road games seems like a dicey strategy.
  10. I'll just go with abbreviation.
  11. Griss better get something going soon. 13 trips to the plate and one single thus far. SSSS, I know, but if anybody needs to show they can hit a little it's him.
  12. You're going to have to send your comments to the site owner. There's no value in posting pictures of dead horses or complaining to other posters.
  13. The site owner wants the articles. Surely you can wrap your head around this. If not just move along.
  14. Feels to me like Bleis has been in the organization forever LOL.
  15. I'm not even sure what an argument for it would look like. If you've got a few guys dealing, wouldn't you rather see them every fifth game than every sixth game?
  16. Larry calls out bad performance whenever and wherever he sees it. He's not playing favorites, he has also roasted Bregman for a pair of errors so far!
  17. The 6 man rotation seems like a bit of a white whale. I mean, can anyone name the most successful teams that utilized one? In fact, can anyone name any teams at all that have used one for an extended time?
  18. That'd probably bring his OPS over 1.000 LOL. We have 4 S's in effect: Small Spring Sample Sizes.
  19. I think Breslow has tilted the balance to where pitching looks like a strength and the Big 3 need to stay put.
  20. I think Cora explained it well. If Crawford and Bello were healthy it'd be a conversation. As it is multi-inning relievers are what they really need. At the rates pitchers are getting injured at, a 6 man rotation might be a pipe dream.
  21. All we've got is some Small Spring Sample Sizes to work with.
  22. Except he was talking about Yoshida. 🙂
  23. That no-hitter came on June 25, 2010. His ERAs by month for 2010: 6.67 5.58 2.11 7.24 1.47 4.93
  24. And yet you'd still be throwing in 35-40 million.
