    On the bullpen front, Marcus Walden and Kaleb Ort are both off to very good starts with the WooSox. We almost need a WooSox thread now.

    It's more about this year. Cordero has a .448 OPS in 91 PA's, and O homers. No one is saying to DFA him, just to demote him so he can work on his game.

    Red Sox fans have done their share of bitching about medical diagnoses over the years. The most recent example being Sale.

    Yeah, it's simply incredible that he can't stay healthy even as a DH.

    Taylor's last 2 outings were 7th inning with 1 run leads. That's a major change from how he was being used earlier.

    I worry about many things during games. Our bullpen did fine in yesterday's game outside of how things ended. Valdez and Taylor have looked pretty good lately. Sawamura has been mostly good. Ottavino gives heartburn but is not that bad. If necessary, they could move Whitlock to setup man. I'm confident that Bloom and Cora will do a good job.

    Almost every closer is asked for the occasional 4 or 5 out save.

    They haven't needed him to start yet, all 5 of our starters have been healthy and pitched well. In his last outing he threw 52 pitches, so he could probably throw 4 innings and 60-65 pitches next outing.

    Some players' reasonable chances are more limited than others. Some deserve longer or shorter ropes. I don't think that's a controversial position.
