  1. No, but their signings were 4 years apart.
  2. Correct. Shouldn't have left him out.
  3. Sounds good to me! Lopez has nice numbers.
  4. What size sample for Casas's 952?
  5. No kidding. It's basically a punishment for not winning the division.
  6. He had a 959 in Boston last year.
  7. Dalbec would be a keeper on the Yankees. Their first sackers are putting up a 167/267/249 line.
  8. Yeah, it sure is nice having Bloom, Cora, Venable and Varitek.
  9. Another classic exchange from a Yankee forum, this one about Chris Gittens. Poster 1: His swing looks very long. Poster 2: His career looks very short.
  10. Bigly. Seems like our coaching of pitchers is pretty good right now.
  11. So you're 1 for 2 so far. Or did Taillon get hurt?
  12. No-no's are bad for you. See: Corey Kluber, John Means...
  13. As you're suggesting, Dalbec needs to start taking more walks.
  14. The preseason projections on the Yankees weren't really grounded in much logic. They were 33-27 last year, they replaced Tanaka and Happ with Kluber and Taillon, and that was supposed to vault them into a 105 win team?
  15. The thing about preseason projections is, fans could do as well on them as 'experts'. It's all guesswork. The Yankees really decided to go X Factor with their rotation when they signed both Kluber and Taillon. How could anyone reliably predict what those two would do? Answer: they couldn't.
  16. It's true for a lot of hitters this year.
  17. Marwin deserves some love for his performance in this series. 5 RBI in 3 games, and some big ones. Also got his OPS back over .600 LOL It's like we've reached the point that if your OPS is over .600, there's still hope for you.
  18. Yes, that is one hell of a tough 4 game winning streak you just pulled off, moon.
  19. And in Bloom's case, he has us.
  20. I'm impressed that Donaldson has been doing homework on this.
  21. Donaldson has apparently been tracking spin rate stats for a while.
  22. This isn't the first time Cole's number has popped up with the sticky stuff. Just before the season started there was a story about a suspicious-sounding e-mail he sent. Plus Bauer made some accusations about him.
