    "Only on here". No, that's not really true. I have a Globe subscription, and Bloom is certainly taking a lot of heat there, but he also has his supporters. It's kind of a joke when someone posts minor transactions like this one and people make a big fuss over it.

    You might need to review Beni's FanGraphs page. He's far from a great fielder or baserunner. In fact he's a minus in both. The only thing he has done well this year is hit singles. He has 3 HR and his ISO is an atrocious .078.

    The value of the Beni trade for us all depends on Wink, who got off to a nice start but has been scuffling bigly and now has a perfect goose egg fWAR of 0.0.

    Playing devil's advocate about Bogey, while we all love him, he's on pace this year for 10-12 homers and 50-60 RBI and plays average defense. He turns 30 in October. Might it be a bad idea to give him a $200-250 million contract?
