The Mets will be reporting a loss. Whether the numbers can be relied on is a different question. Unless you're talking about appreciation in market value.

Cohen is likely not done at all. Why stop until you're virtually guaranteed the 2023 trophy? This is a serious problem now. What will Manfred do? That probably depends on how much heat he's getting from other owners.

Henry and Bloom are trying to be the smart guys in the room. -Let the other teams get stuck with those albatross contracts to aging players. -Lock up potential young stars much sooner. I think they will try to do this with Bello, Casas, hopefully Mayer. But will this approach generate the desired results and do Red Sox fans have the stomach for it?
