  1. That's what I'm talkin' about.
  2. Man, $700/week is not exactly rolling in it.
  3. LOL moon says he watches every game, so I'm not going to argue on this one. Of course one could always look at Ellsbury's baserunning metrics on FanGraphs if they wanted. Maybe compare them to Mookie, who has always been considered a super-smart baserunner.
  4. No doubt. Yankee fans will support this wholeheartedly until he throws his first clunker.
  5. I have always valued good pitchers too.
  6. We're kind of reaching the point that a "middle reliever" is more important than the term would suggest.
  7. With guys like Crawford and Wink I think it's the coaching that can make all the difference.
  8. "Inconsistent" is kind of a fuzzy word applied to pitchers. When you look at Houck's overall numbers, they're pretty damn good. A 3.02 career ERA. Don't you old schoolers look at ERA first?
  9. He'd be nuts to try to throw 99 right away, of course.
  10. No, I think that's the whole point. It's a unique situation, so everyone's just guessing.
  11. Why not though? Is this a scientific fact? Haven't some pitchers missed 1.5 seasons or more with TJS like Whitlock and come back strong? Where is the tipping point?
  12. It's an interesting case. Nobody really knows how long it will take him to ramp back up again.
  13. That's the way I see it too, strictly for amusement.
  14. No point is too small to contest!
  15. Personally, I find saying that Song hasn't pitched in 4 years really stupid. So yes, opinions can definitely vary.
  16. Sox personnel seem to believe anyone can play anywhere, though.
  17. You could actually make an argument that Song's hiatus was only 2 years, compared to other prospects at least, because the 2020 minor league season was wiped out by COVID. Anyone up for that discussion?
  18. Midseason form.
  19. Sheeple are gonna sheeple.
  20. We finally got notin to concede the point, and then moon had to jump in.
  21. I really don't think I've ever seen any rules as complicated as these.
  22. Now we're getting somewhere!
  23. So all the pitchers who pitched in MLB in 2022 have had a 1 year hiatus, is that how you see it?
  24. 3 year hiatus.
