  1. The Red Sox have to stop signing pitchers from Texas. They all turn out to be cases of some sort.
  2. At the end of the day the only stat that counts is the team's W-L record. That much is for sure.
  3. Rays swept by KC! LMAO...crazy f'king game this is.
  4. Just place a call to the Nicaraguan Nightmare, and McDonald's next at-bat will coincide with Jimmy Hoffa's next speech.
  5. Phil Hughes seems to be 'un-ruined' now...
  6. Can't help wondering if young Clay might have gotten a little too fond of the pain medication for his back problem.
  7. V loves his righty vs. lefty matchups every bit as much as Tito...maybe more!
  8. Nobody knows exactly WTF Bard's problem is. Could be physical affereffects from being used too much last year. Could be mechanical problems from the change to starting. Could be mental. Could be all three. He seems to be a guy who really needs help. As I showed his numbers with Varitek catching him were incredibly good, and much better than with other catchers. I think he can turn things around but he needs a good coach.
  9. Philly is above NL average in offense, without Howard and Utley. They are below NL average in pitching, with Hamels. They need offense more than they need Hamels?
  10. Again, why does Philly let go of Hamels? They just can't afford him? He's already making $15 million or so. Their payroll is as high as ours. They're paying Paps $12.5 million. Halladay is hurt and Lee is having a rough streak.
  11. Props to Dice K, Salty, Kalish, Pedey, Gonzo. Props to Valentine for all the right pitching and pinch hitting moves.
  12. No kidding. You know as soon as he's done with baseball he moves to a more lucrative career as a hit man for a drug cartel.
