  1. 20 pitches is a rather arbitrary number. I'm pretty sure Rivera and Papelbon have a lot of 20+ pitch 3-out saves.
  2. The Orioles used their pen just as much.
  3. Josh Johnson got incinerated today. Welcome to the AL.
  4. I see what you're doing there.
  5. Right. And I assume your cycle comment was meant in jest like mine.
  6. That means you can stand by your assessment for 6 more months.
  7. Yeah, maybe the 'out cycle' - strikeout, groundout, popout, flyout.
  8. No question. Hanrahan f***ed up large. But to me it's two separate things. The ump blew a call that would have ended the game with us winning. Most of the time that gets called a strike. He had already called a worse pitch a strike in the same at-bat. It irks me.
  9. Horrible blown save by Hanrahan. Also horrible blown call by the ump on McLouth. Hanrahan struck him out to end the game and the ump blew it. MLB Gameday clearly shows that pitch #5 called a ball was better than pitch #1 called a strike. Clear, indisputable evidence that the ump f***ed us.
  10. If our overachiever keeps it going into the summer, he'll need a female fan club, wearing halter tops and short shorts...the Nava Hos.
  11. I went to a school where you could buy a Doubie for a Buch, out by the Dumpster. Of course you had to keep an eye out, Lestah cop or school Lackey be on patrol. :joke:
  12. How PC of you.
  13. Middlebrooks = Will-Da-Beast. I didn't make it up but I think it's a good one.
  14. Yes, I knew I had to cover that.
  15. Nava will end up with an OPS of .800 or higher this year. And to our humorists here...I swear there is no sexual arousal involved.
  16. Drew homered in tonight's game with Portland.
  17. You said Happ would be batting practice too.
  18. Yeah, that'd be about it I think. Foulke scared people with his high 80's fastball though.
  19. Have we ever had a closer that didn't give us heartburn?
  20. Fluid situation I would say. If Drew doesn't play well the clamor for Iggy will be swift and deafening. If he does play well there's a controversy a'brewing.
  21. His OPS for last 5 years: 2008 877 2009 794 2010 899 2011 953 2012 1026 His only really bad year was 2009. And that was mainly the first half. That's not really that much of a regression compared to the off-years some hitters have.
  22. (Stays the f*** out of this one.)
  23. More small sample size fun: Salty's CERA after 4 games 2.50
