Forget the back of the card. JBJ has an fWAR of 0.6 (after 2.2 in 2017). At this pace, there is a legitimate question of whether he should get a raise.
I don't like the crooked cap either, but it's not against the rules.
Some guys like to wear their socks high. It's a uniform but there is a bit of latitude for individual preferences.

You don't know in January what your needs are going to be in July because of injuries or underperformance.

It's tough to just give up on a guy you've invested a lot in. I think he gets one more start and if it's another bad one, it'll be the phantom DL with a strained lower back muscle or something.
