  1. If I saw two girls beating up on another girl I hope I would try to stop it.
  2. The fact that there isn't much of a step down from JBJ to Pillar means JBJ is redundant. He's gone. Bloom would not sign Pillar otherwise.
  3. I'm pretty sure Bloom is plotting moves on the pitching front.
  4. So you are for trading him, basically.
  5. I assume most are assuming this means JBJ is being traded.
  6. According to a report Tuesday in The Athletic, Beltran was the ringleader when it came to the scheme and ignored the protests of some coaches and teammates. Beltran joined the Astros before the 2017 season after spending the previous three years with the Yankees. According to The Athletic, when Beltran got to Houston, he told the organization its sign-stealing methods were “behind the times.” So after 3 years with the Yankees, Beltran tells the Astros their sign-stealing methods are 'behind the times'! And then after the 2018 season the Yankees hire Beltran as a 'special adviser'! Beltran is the Yankees sign-stealing smoking gun.
  7. The Marlins and Pirates are reminders of why we should be grateful for the Red Sox franchise's success over the last two decades.
  8. The reason it's interim is because the investigation isn't done.
  9. Oh I know. But they have been knocking on the door quite a bit.
  10. It's been a long freakin' investigation for some reason though...
  11. I'd say JBJ's dig at Eck was a little more under the radar. He didn't curse him out on the team plane.
  12. Here's my theory on JBJ: Henry went to Bloom and told him to make sure he kept him, because he was having a recurring nightmare of how bad our outfield looked with neither Mookie or JBJ out there.
  13. Yeah, but remember, you guys are more clever than Bloom. He just didn't think of this.
  14. A little weird, but not out of the question.
  15. No. Mookie was going even if Price stayed.
  16. I agree. Mookie is not exactly an innocent saint in all this.
  17. I really hope that's not exactly the way Mookie thinks. I think he's hoping the Sox, Dodgers and another team or two get in a bidding war and he can pick and choose where he plays out his career and collects his $400 mill.
  18. Keeping Bradley was simply not that big of a deal.
  19. Are you trying to say the Price deal will live in infamy? Because that would be a wee bit over the top.
  20. Free agency has been around for 40+ years though.
  21. Of course you do.
